The tournament starts 8/Aug, and you have one week to play on each round.

It's a Worms 2 Roper style scheme played on W:A.

The main differences are 12s turns, 5s retreat, higher fall damage, destructible terrain, no water drop, and obviously the ninja rope.
We used to use RubberWorm to enable the "w2 ninja rope", but now in W:A 3.8 it's the option callled "Unrestrict rope".

Hey ropers around the world ,

Hope you all are doing well.

Given all this situation with coronavirus where most of us are having to stay locked down in our homes, and that WA has just got that brand new 3.8 update, I thought perhaps some of you guys would have some spare time and would be interested in participating in a (last?) w2 roper tournament?

The tournament format will be double-elimination brackets, matches will be best of 3, and it's scheduled to start in 2 weeks (August 8th) so everyone can have some time to brush up on their roping skills. I also brought the league www.wormsroper.com back online in case anyone is keen of playing some matches too. The schemes available for download are already updated to WA 3.8.

So... what do you think?! I've talked to some people and we already have 20 players signed up.
If you are keen on participating in this tournament just reply to this thread. We have a WhatsApp group so the matches can be easily arranged.
