I replied on this matter at the cup forums.

I have voided the game: soldier vs pizzasheet.

This cup has certain rules and I want all of the games to be played accordingly. Not only soldier violated the best-of-three regulation but also repeatedly abused the "mouse walk", which is a forbidden glitch. Therefore the total result remains at 0:0.

Should I perceive similar behaviour in future I will not feel any shame by excluding him from competition. And I do very much hope soldier reads this and explains his attitude. "Not knowing" will not shelter him from the consequences.

Unfortunately I had to void your game, because intermediate is supposed to be played with 8 worms per team, I thought you'd know. :/ I'm sorry especially for you LeTotalKiller, you worked very hard on making the game happen.

Being a role model I already played all my games. X)

I had downloaded the other scheme and there was indeed no worm selects, so in this case it was a wrong scheme.

Zoky, I'm sorry for Tade, but I've already spoken my final word and this time we will live or die with these groups. Now get on playing.

Yeah, NAiL, I could've done that. But I was inactive a fairly long time and want to test the waters a bit if you know what I mean. The best shall prevail no matter what.

I agree, the result of the draw is a bit unfortunate for some groups, but that's something we will have to deal with this time. Next time (if there will be) I will devide the participants up into 4 "pots" according to their skill level and suggest the admins to make a (better) seeded draw putting one player from each pot into one group.

I took the chance and paired the groups when the number hit the 32 mark. I'm sorry for everyone who maybe wanted to participate as well.

Smart pairing didn't work out the way I imagined  but we will have to roll with it.

DEADLINE

Since the sign ups went pretty quick I am setting the deadline for the group stage for July 17th 23:59. After that no game results will be accepted and I repeat there won't be any possibilities of postponing a game beyond the deadline mark I won't care for any reason, so play smart and think in advance.
