Early 2010s were good times for the league indeed. But as I recall around 2013 "tus ne1" started failing already. And asking specific player for a match is basically cheating
Maybe it would be nice to have discord server for TUS league (mention feature is nice and helps if you are afk). If Dario didnt create a server for ONL some years ago I doubt it would even survive

Last one I had was 19" CRT LaCie and with XGA+ resolution it was actually ok for me to use it even on daily basis. Sadly it's broken now and I decided it's time to switch to something new. Wish I had the money for a good OLED monitor but I had to go with 23" IPS DELL. With FHD resolution It's ok for most things but it's a lot harder for me to play WA with it (some other games are perfectly fine). Latency is acceptable, but I can't comfortably see little important things that are especially important in default schemes where you have some pixel perfect stuff.
Probably changing the resolution or getting a bigger screen solves this problem but actually it adds a lot of other ones. I don't like moving my head a lot. Afaik e-sportsmen prefer something like 24". I would go even smaller for WA and use lower resolution.

I think I will always prefer CRT for WA and other old games, unless they have some significant graphics update.

Back in the good days, the best players were that good because of their accuracy and flawless technique, not because of taps nor hardware - at least in South America since all we had was a cheap plastic keyboard.
Scripts for tapping faster are laughable and give almost zero advantages in a super competitive context. It's all about accuracy, good timing, quick thinking and the ability to handle a lot of pressure when you are in front of decisive turns facing top players knowing you need to be spotless.

In the highest heights of tus, what players had super fast taps and dominated the league? Barring Anubis I can't remember none from CF, cfc, Tag, ckc or dt.
