It is used for statistics. When you join a cup, your nationality (and clans/communities) get recorded. You're seeing the recorded group for that particular cup. Maybe I have to hide that as well.

Saint's nationality is set to German while his has selected Russia as his display country. Nationality is used only for match statistics.
