Shoppa isnt a "noob" scheme, for many reasons.

For one, shopper is practically the only scheme in which 1 mistake can ruin the game.

You need to be very consistant, as well as creative with your attacking and hiding.

How about, when signing up for a cup you fill out a section with the dates and times that you can DEFINATELY play.

E.g. MON TUE WED THUR from 22:00 to 03:00 GMT

The system can then match corresponding times randomly. Not all pairings will be able to be made with corresponding times, but these can be sorted out and compromises made.

Most ACTIVE players on here can play on at least 3 days of the week, dont deny it!

You must be avaliable on at least 1 day within 1 week of the first round of the tourney.

What I mean by this is that all the games must be played within 1 week of each round starting.

Dont sign up to a tourney if you know your not going to be around when it starts. If its a big tourney, dont register if your going on holiday 2 weeks into it.

If players fail to play their games at the allocated times that they already AGREED they could make, then they get a strike. If they get two strikes then they are banned from all cups for the rest of the season.

you just proved Maciejs point.

Thing your forgetting is that you have FOUR worms in t17, if all FOUR of your worms are blocked then you cant be playing well.

Its all about placement, if someone says to me "stop blocking me", I say "stop letting me block you"!

If your worms are being blocked every turn up until SD, then your not doing enough to evade it!

Its the attitude of "blocking is easy and unavoidable" that annoys me because it is simply not true, you can counteract a blocking opponant in MANY ways.

Well your not active on tus so I cant see your stats but my point is that you will inevitably have games in which you get really unhelpful weapons, and the only way to stand a chance of winning is to block as often as possible. You'll easily go through 7 girders when this happens.

thats why you loose more often than not!

It doesnt even display the whole chat log for big conversations, intrudes on privacy yes, I like drama though so I'd keep it.

I fully understand why you wouldnt want it there though, but hey now you know that all you have to do is type /anon nochat at the start of a game and its problem solved.

But then again people will wonder why the chat hasnt been made public and make them want to downlaod the game to read the chat more, maybe just get rid of it all together. I like it though as it does expose some of the bad attitudes some players have.
