T17 cave is almost all about Sudden Death; that's why I agree with Lupastic about being more boring and no fun (mostly), and the luck factor to be inherent part of T17 generally. T17 island may be quite unfair scheme mainly in initial positions sometimes, but it enables more possibilities of moves because it's open map. I enjoy the risk above safety in that case. I'm used to having already in mole safety in the starting positions (around 95% of cases), so I don't care too much about being more exposed, I guess that's another reason. :p
