Guys, I'm not arguing - I honestly lost according to the rules of the cup and I'm not asking you to cancel this game.
I'm just saying that the rules could be much softer and approach each individual case individually and analyze the situation - this is normal and better than instantly losing for the slightest mistake.
Let's try to analyze this situation, if I had not had to give up after my mistake? Regardless of what decision we come to - I do not pretend to cancel this round, just for example.
After my mistake, I still had worms: Shotgun, Grenade, Air Strike, Petrol. and 4 teleports, 1 rope
Kevin still had worms: Petrol, Air Strike, Shotgun and 4 teleports, 2 rope
Kevin's next move was Air Strike and killed my Shotgun. He also had the choice of wounding my Petrol or attacking my Grenade, wounding it slightly and opening it up for further air attack.
Clarification: My Grenade hid in a small shelter, which was created as a result of my mistake. If I hadn't made this mistake and stayed where I was, Kevin could have dealt more damage with his Air Strike (maybe even completely kill him). - What I described in this clarification is the only thing that could slightly affect the further course of the game.
The next turn was my Air Strike and I couldn't hit any enemy target, and then Echiko told me to give up. End.
What decision could restore justice so that it suits everyone and the round continues?
My suggestion:
I could skip turns until my Grenade started moving again and I skipped a turn with it too, or I could skip turns until one of my worms dies (if my worm dies right after the first skip, then I miss again)
Thus, during my skippings Kevin could significantly change the course of the game in his favor, reducing my chances of winning

On my "last turn" in the second game, I used a shotgun instead of a grenade - it was a mistake, but I did not deal any damage and it did not affect the game much, but by the harsh rules, I lost instantly.

ESL | Experimental Schemes League / Creation of a website for the ESL league
June 14, 2022, 05:00 PM
Our discord channel received a proposal from Zemke to create a separate website for our league, where you can upload games, view statistics, standings, etc.
Zemke already has such a site ready to host the league, and he was just thinking about what scheme to start testing the system he developed, here are a few screenshots for an example (click on spoiler to open):
This is a very good and interesting proposal that automates many of our league's processes and saves me from manually filling in the standings, statistics and posting replays.
I would like to ask your opinion on this and participate in this poll.
Are you ready to register on the new site to participate in the league?
