Windows XP is old and lacks aero so there can be issues, but most of them should be sorted by now.
issues produced by Direct3D 9 itself cannot be solved.

That happened to me with bands like Branikald, Absurd, Nokturnal Mortum, Pantheon, G.B's K., S.W.M., Graveland, Capricornus, Kristallnacht, etc, etc, I enjoyed alot their music/energy/atmosphere and shit, despite the lyrics. Anyway, now I'm far of that kind of metal, now I'm mainly focus on the latin and north america scene since 10 years aprox, and giving more emphasis to the lyrics than before.
