I think this is the best idea which has surfaced in the past few days. It doesn't seem hard to implement and it should fix most of the problems people have been recently complaining about.

In my opinion, it should work like that:

• You can set the scheme you "dislike" in your profile settings.
• The scheme can be changed once per season (if you make your decision during season i, it would apply for the season i+1).
• In the playoffs, your opponent wouldn't be allowed to pick the scheme you "disliked" during the season from which you qualified into the playoffs.
  
• This scheme wouldn't contribute to your overall score (although there is a problem with people who would not "dislike" any scheme at all - their ratings would still consist of 8 instead of 7 schemes - maybe this could be fixed by not taking the lowest-rated scheme into account for such people?).

Any comments?

Phanton has played 1879 hysteria games so far. This is 14.7% of all hysteria games ever played (close to 1/7).

Hysteria is rather a new scheme for me. I don't think it had already been in existence at the point when I left worms in 2007. Yet, I think I've already played it enough to be able to share my opinion.

Hysteria surely requires some abilities, but the skill cap is rather low. There's simply not much you can do during a single second of turn time. Another thing is that hysteria is one of the schemes which don't really benefit a lot from being played competitively. I think it has always been meant to be played for fun. During funners, you can allow yourself to try all the crazy moves you would never attempt in a league game. But once again, such craziness doesn't prove efficient in serious games and it always ends up with both sides doing the same old plain boring moves in every game.

Statik is right, forcing Sudden Death is surely a viable option is you want quick matches, but it narrows all the required skill down to shooting accuracy. We already have a scheme for that, don't we? It's called BnG if I remember correctly.

I do think the classic league schemeset should be fixed.
Here's my advice:

• Replace TUS Classic Hysteria with another default scheme which can actually be played competitively (aerial? inter?).
• Launch a THL (TUS Hysteria League) for those who will always love hysteria even after reading my post. Current TRL season proves it would be active enough.

I sent a PM about this thread to AlbtrauM, Random00, Chelsea, j0e and K1NG. Hoping to see some interest.

Mablak didn't need to improve his time at all, they lied about their finishing times if you check the replay (61 and 62 instead of 60 and 61). We won by 3 seconds.

Asbest has decided to try his luck in the random number generation department and claimed as many as 5 different finishing times for eS. He reported under the impression that Kaleu got 56, but the actual scores were: Mablak 54, Free 66, Kaleu 62, Asbest 61.

I always wonder whether harpy has poor communicative skills or just extremely surreal sense of humor
