I'd say there's nothing wrong with that, it still takes one turn during which you can't do anything but grab a crate.

Random pairings are the key feature of FoS tournaments, it's our unique way of spicing things up. We are not going to drop this idea in future events.

FoS Tournament #3

The third FoS tournament is going to take place next weekend, this time as a Worm Olympics event. Just like always, we invite everyone to take part in the event!

Scheme: TTRR
Date: Sunday, August 5, 2012
Time: 19:00 GMT
Channel: #RopersHeaven
Tournament hosts: Barman and Peja

Tournament rules:

-Standard TTRR rules apply. 3 worms per player. RacingStuff recommended.
-In order to sign up, send a PM to barman on #RH just before the tournament.
-After the sign-ups are closed, all the participants will be arranged into 2-player teams. Each team will play a match against another randomly selected team. Winners will advance into the next round.
-Before every round, teams will be rearranged so that you are not likely to play with the same partner twice.
After the final round, players of the winning pair will face each other in the epic 1v1 battle for gold! (Players of the losing pair will play a bronze match)

There's a lot of fun incoming! See you on Sunday!

I got a bit bored of TRL after I was not able to find any opponent in the first 10 or so days of the season. Other that that, Statik is not as active as he used to be (or not active at all).

This doesn't change the fact that we would have exhausted the 15 games limit if we had played all the rounds of our all 5 games as bo1 (first 2 games were bo1, then 2 times bo5, then bo9 - every time we ended up playing a tiebreak - that's 21 rounds in total)
