As darkz and me were installed as spam and insult guards for this forum by MonkeyIsland, i will take my freedom and delete the posts which i consider as insultive or spam now, according to the TUS forum rules. So please, keep this tidy, unless you want your posts to be removed. Actually, as i think the whole intention of creating this thread is to cause this kind of controversy and drama,  i would rather have this thread locked. Peja, next time you would be better off to invite taner to FoS, and create a thread there, then people can insult each other all day long. :) For now, this thread remains open though, until we feel it is time to lock it due to forum rules abuse.

Schemes / Re: TTRR variants

Why isn't low gravity, chuteless or 3-star rope RR on the list? :(

Because those have already been invented i guess. :)

But yeah, would be nice to have those variations for tourneys and cups. Maybe even a tourney where it changes every round. That would kinda determine who's the quickest and safest roper, and who can adapt best to various styles of playing.

Schemes / Re: TTRR variants

The thing with these variations is that they simply won't be used... big maps never really enforced themselves too for the "classic" schemes. It's not even the unwillingless to learn something new, it is just that the schemes played in classic league are so well thought out, and enjoyable to play, that it basically makes no sense to spice them up in any way, imo.

So obvious! Well thanks from me too, i always wondered where it hides its settings. :)

I agree, people should be animated not to use different nicks, it just complicates things. I don't see any benefit in having 2 nicks either, other than confusing people, and making life difficult for other players and mods.

Schemes / Re: Roper: allow 2 worms option in 1v1

Yes !

And yeah, i think the one who picks the scheme should decide which variation is played. In general, i think this adds a lot of tactics to 1vs1 roper. :)

Well, what if someone give's tips by PM, you would never know. Honestly, there is no way to prevent this, except for kicking everyone except your opponent. ;)

This one is the problem of newest Worms games since WUM, I'm not alone with it. Why did they need to use this shitty rendering method...
Because they can't code. xD

Throw a nade, bounced on every piece of land, ends up on the bottom left where I thought i'd hit somewhere near the upper top of the screen.
That pretty much sums up the weird physics of the modern Worms 2D titles. :P Honestly, i won't even try this. Worms Reloaded was such a bullshit already.

New audience is millions
I doubt that. Team 17 would be doing full price titles if that was the case. :) Also, i've never seen more than 20 people online on Worms 3D or Worms 4 multiplayer, and those even were almost full price titles...

No and no. :) Actually i even know of a case in which the Steam version of W:A causes lags, while the normal version didn't. I'm pretty convinced that W:A in combination with Vista and 7 causes lags, sometimes due to the sidebar thing being activated, or other services running in the background. What you could try is to activate background services you don't need, google for it, there are some tutorials and info about the several services on the net. What you could also try (worked for me once on Vista) is to set the WA.exe process priority higher (in the Windows task manager). Not guaranteed that that works though. Also you could try and fiddle with the ingame options of W:A. And if nothing helps, you could also try this: http://worms2d.info/Emulating_Worms_Armageddon.
