last night

wow that is shitty.  I gave my thumb a good cut while cooking with a Shun 6" Serrated utility knife a few weeks ago.  It took forever to heal, bled like a motherfvcker too and kept reopening.  Cut went through my thumb nail and into my skin a good amount - but looks like yours is far worse.  Hope yours heals well dude.  Cover it up during the day and let it breathe at night.  Also have neosporin handy!

I have my xbox at my apt, but I don't even have it set up.  I play PS3 once in a blue moon, last game I played was GT5, and it had to be a few months ago already. I use it for Netflix allll the time.

Don't really have time for much anymore...  Work, gym, and then in my free time I've been getting absolutely hammered now that I'm single again; sadly wasn't by choice.  Also dedicate some time for a few forums here and there too.

edit: also yes, we're grown up now lol.  sorry for coming off as a dick

COD: MW, NBA Live 06, GoW, and Fight Night Round 3 are the only games I have.  If we ever did try to play it had to have been MW

Ok, you have the right username and game.  I don't even recall us ever trying to play, but OK.  It's one of the only games I have...  I know we had a thread on firstblood or whatever it was listing our Live IDs...

and how don't you remember that when I first came back you gave me a tough time and I wasn't a fan of you... Clint was the one who told me to take it easy

edit: forgot to mention, I never got banned from Xbox Live... dunno where you got that from.  I did however stop playing it/paying for it once I got PS3 though.

Never really analyzed it but I keep my fingers all on the same line "asdfghjk;l" with my left pinky on A and my right pinky on ; - meaning my pointers are on F and J.  I only press my space bar with my right hand.

Not sure about "official", but I've taken several different typing tests - this ones not half bad.  I'd definitely consider it an easier one because they're giving you short words that have a 'qwerty' flow to them.  The hard ones are filled with ridiculous grammar and proper nouns - though they give you an entire screens worth of typing in front of you so there is no confusion, with the exception that if you take your eyes off the screen for one second you will lose your place completely.

Keyboard placement is where ever you want it to be.  I find it that I am fastest when I have the keyboard to the edge of the desk that way none of my arm wrests on anything.  Not only am I a fast typer, but I am extremely loud...  Everyone in my office complains/makes comments about me chattering away on the keyboard.  I remember when I use to rope, you'd be able to hear it throughout 3/4ths of my parents house too lol.

Regardless of whether or not you know what you're going to type, you subconsciously do...

In the end, timing yourself manually as you type isn't the same as taking a legitimate typing test - that's all.

As far as "being timed" on typing what you want, that's not so much a typing test really.  The element of surprise and not knowing what's coming in front of you is what makes it difficult.  If I were knowing exactly what I was typing before I typed it, man I would FLY through it - such as the lyrics to a classic song.  It's kind of like cheating.

On this typing test the thing that slows me down is when the paragraph changes.  I constantly am typing the last word of the current paragraph and then the first word of the new paragraph (which are the same word) twice, causing me to get a mistake.  I wish it were scrolling text or something that way the transition was smooth and I wouldn't keep retyping that damn word twice.

if you recall when I was leader of NBR i rarely ever let people join, like rarely rarely ever.  It was definitely a totally different clan back then.  Then I come back for a week and thewalrus became a member and was being a dick to me saying i can't just show up to ag 3 years later with the NBR tag.  I was like... motherf@#!er, puhlease.
