Yanme is a fair player with a nice attitude.
I don't remember him being included in bad sportmanship or insulting... bad behavure case. In the other hand you have this player who is new but yet has bad behavure concern. I joined the chat when yanme did host and I must admit that yanme must have been calm and ignoring him before the game started because he was just really annoying.
I guess it's a whole thing. When you play with someone with a behavure like that: you don't want to play with him and you think that if he can he'll find a way to cheat.
I think that's helped yanme to left.  It's not like he left because he though he was gonna loose the game. And before judging mod should concider this .

I really like the thing a lot also !

Actually intermediaire is not as famous as elite in tus.
But I do personally think that intermediaire is harder than elite.
Just take the exemple of mablak, he plays only intermediaire because for him it's the only scheme where there's a real challange.
I totally agree with everything you said error.
The problem is that most of player are noob in this scheme and can't handle that many worms ...
But if you play against someone who is used to  play this scheme you'll always loose. This means there's a lot of skills in this scheme .

To be honest I think, we missunderstand the problem.
People don't play playoffs not because of the time. They had time to play 50 games at least (one month season or more) so playing 4 more games is not a big deal for them . The real problem and the one where TUS can makes the difference is how motivate people to play playoffs. And since the community isn't that old I think it's all about doing a big show off about the winners. For exemple, write it in big at the home page / Make their nickname gold or special / ...
In Fact something to be able to make someone who doens't know about worms thinking about a playoff winner when he sees him in forum "wohoo he must be leet". Same goes with clan.
And in my opinion the best way to handle it is by changing the avatar of someone who post in forum for exemple

If you want a hash solution:
Install worms X2 in one you update it to the lastest version so you can watch replay and in the other you don't so you can play

I totally agree with you beer. It should not be like that because you loose part of the fun of the game. That's why rules has to change. But like chakkman said, mods has to be extremly cautious about it.

Phantom could have forgiven it.
But he didn't, and it's his right as lame as it seems when someone make a cow it's your right to claim for a skip.

You do think that skipping would have affected the game too much for that little cow. I would want to say two things:
First, as for any scheme skipping does not imply loosing. He could have failed .. who knows
Secondly, if it's your fault (you made the cow) you've to pay the prize for it. That's all.

We say that 8 hp doesn't affect the game. But in my opinion it's not only 8 hp, it's a retreat time also to get an hide and i'm sorry when the goal is to kill a worms 8 hp is still 8 hp.So even if it's not huge it sure does.

Mods are there to apply rules on delicate case. They aren't there to change them whenever they want to.
Being sportmanship and act like that is not a rule as far I know. Reason with people when they complaint about meaningless thin is one thing mods can do.

I do respect both player but as I read before, by making this choice you're altering the rule and opening a hole to the system.

Actually I think even if crazy didn't ask for. That he would be a very good mood.
He got a nice reputation (to be honest i don't see anyone hating him).
He's a pretty old school player (=> he saw a lot of complaining case => got a good backgound to know what  to do).
He's not someone who get so often involved in flame topic.
And he's mature.

There sure are other people around but just in case i would vote crazy
