It was agreed that we were playing Best of 5. I won 3 he won 2. Don't know why he is reporting.

I think playing Bo3 is a great way to minimize luck and losses due to cr8s.

That's what Dev said as I was about to win the bo5. I can see why tus would be against this if playing multiple schemes, but when playing for just 1 win on one scheme, I don't see why there would be a problem if its agreed to before the game. I believe bo3 or bo5 would solve many problems designated to the roper schemes. This is a much different scenario then asking for a don.

There's nothing wrong with playing a single match as bo3/bo5 as long as both players agree, this is actually a preferred way of playing certain schemes (like intermediate or mine madness in the free league).

TUS always allowed agreement on bo.x games. Read the description in report page for replays.

I would've reported 2 games like dev, unless you specifically said it was only for 1 game.

when I ask people to play bo3 or bo5, it just means you must continue playing until first to two wins, or first to three wins, all games reported.  this sounds more like a misunderstanding than anything.

bo5 like dub is saying where only 1 game gets reported is a rare agreement, and I doubt both sides understood. dev should post though, and say what's on his mind.

Franz when you say first to two wins in no way can it be confused for best of 3. Two total different meanings and two totally different things. What is the point of playing best of 3 or 5 if not for a 1 win? I mean, that is common knowledge of what a best of series is.

I'm just saying how I've used/said bo3 and how I'd interpret it, in the possibility that others saw it the same way.  It's not always as clear as you may think.  If I'm alone in this line of thought, then I'll accept that.  I already changed to saying 'first to 2 wins' anyway, so it doesn't affect me personally as much anymore.

I called this bo5 coz this guy it's so cocky, everygame he plays he tries so hard to annoy, I know u think ur a badass cowboy, but u watched too much clint eastwood movies, dub. If u see first two games, he starts the game by saying gg, after the third, he stopped that, coz I smashed his face on my wins, now go ride some bull, report ur games, and lock this thread mods.

bo3 =  best of 3 games = max amount of necessary wins is 2 = first to 2

1) t for the compliment

2) not necessarily, I dont know you

3) "first to 2 wins" and "bo3" imply exactly the same thing, not something similar, 100% the one and the same

4) the-fyi-thing:  ofc it went over my head since I'm apparently so much inferior to your incredible mental capacity but allow me to remark that considering there is no trophy for  a 2-0/2-1 in TUS leagues, a "first to 2 wins" game instantly implies  games for a single win, since no other single goal exists to be won. Only thing to complicate this would be a language barrier or a "foggy" (aka not crystal clear) conversation before the games as to the exact nature of the 1v1.
