That's right, how are you going to report a free win if you don't even know what was he planning to pick?
Leaving before all games have been done is definitely not the nicest thing to do (unless one player warns the other beforehand that he doesn't have time for all), but since your pick has been played, the most you can do is to try to get Kins host his own one when he's available.
Edit: Kins clearly says "1 game only" at the very beginning, so everything seems alright to me.
