Best free Audio/Video converters?

For some strange reason the Audio/Video converter I usually use "Any Audio Converter" seems to crash no matter what I do, even after updating/reinstalling.

So I was wondering if any of you could suggest other good ones, as it's a pain in the ass trying to find them online with all the stupid adverts etc...

It needs to be able to at least convert YouTube rips to WAV/mp3 & FLAC.

downloading is a pain in the ass, cause the page sucks
plus you gotta be careful when installing, cause you got to click away lots of adware.
...but the program itself is great: joins/splits/converts everything to everything

MonkeyIsland, my friend, I know your english is terrible and your understanding of society limited. However, in real life, people attack and humiliate others without the use of a single bad word. They even go to war with lengthy politeness. You can't base the whole moderation philosophy of a community based on the use of bad words and your struggle with sarcasm and irony. Xilisoft video converter can convert even your mother, and it's super fast, if you are in a rush it can save your ass.
