couple google searches later and I found the steamworks page for making achievements.

EDIT1: tbh I'd rather have lots more achievements:
- Bronze/Silver/Gold medals for every mission and training (99+18=117)
- 1 each for deathmatch ranks (21)
- 1 each for specific weapon kill (60-Girder-GirderPack-Scales-Skip-Surrender-Select-Freeze=53)
- Full Wormage achievement (1)
- Plop and/or kill 1000 worms (1)
- Use rope 1000 times without taking damage (1, rehooks don't count)
- 1 each for every weapon used 100 times (60)

117+21+53+1+1+1+60=254

speaking of Steam, since they added rich presense integrated with the chat window, we should have it too

do you really want people to go into offline matches and spam every weapon 100 times instead of actually enjoying the game?

Lot of ppl consider enjoyable to collect steam achievements. Probably few potential buyers of W:A gave up on purchasing cause they saw this game doesn't have any to collect.

Adding online achievements could be a good move. Not that if it's ever gonna happen or change something game related at this point.. But could be cool.

Playing a game to collect steam achievements is idiotic, watching mole shopper is masochistic.
That's personal opinion of an individual. Now bigger picture: Whatever I, or anyone else, think of that - ppl will still keep doing what they like.
What's left to understand? I don't get it.
