Mwahuhaahahhh. Just you wait, I'll be going for 17.xx tomorrow. 8)

Seriously though, it feels perfectly doable now with a bit of luck, there's really only the initial Skidow start that gives me trouble, the rest of the map just kind of completes itself when you do it at speed. Watching Bulky's replay, the last line of your description for this challenge makes so much sense; once you mess up and break the combo, it's almost impossible to get back into stride.

Mablak you missed the outlaw, its meant to finish on the left wall not the in-between, hence you made up so much time with the small d-out :)

EDIT: you missed the swoosh not the outlaw, my bad

good question...It shouldnt count really. Both swoosh and d-out are off.

His Swoosh looks fine to me, Bulky does it that way too, except he follows it up with the Outlaw immediately. But the order in which the tricks are done doesn't matter, right? If anything, creativity should be welcomed.

I guess this so called Drive Out does however require an attachment to the opposite wall instead of the ceiling at the end, according to NLF. But I wouldn't say it saved Mab that much time; he just did the final part, pump fly and onwards, faster than anyone.

Let's just wait and see what Bulky and Rodent say.

Mablak's replay is good. You can finish swoosh on that wall if you wanna, and you can start drive out even higher on that wall if you like, outlaw to pump fly are great... only thing that it is not done well is spike before nuke, but I can go over it. Awesome run! :D

btw 18:44 is my best for now...

Pyro, next time put real time for playback time, I had to watch your replay from start this way and wait for real turn to happen. And you added 0.02s to your time with no reason :)

I'm not playing at all cause I dont have time so I assumed Rodent's replay would be the guide but np then! Still, d-out is off, up to you whether you find it ok ofc

I'm not sure this new format is as cool as the other one. They're different for sure and this is more of a freestyle situation but I find that "hitting the lines" is must more gratifying once you finally do get it :D

I am against lines because sometimes you do trick totally awesome... better and faster then anyone else, but you missed damn line and you loose 0,5s cause of it. That's why I made this without lines.
D-out is good because D-out is vertical swing to bounce from wall to tap that stops your worm in air(no matter if you grab roof or wall) and trick is finished with one more tap.

OMG, so damn close man.

Your time has made Mablak seem human for a change.

I think I might pick up my rope and take a shot at this :<
*edit* - On second thoughts, I won't.

Wow very nice KRD, seems like it's always the arch that controls the ending time. If you want to keep trying after the deadline, I'm game, since I see deadlines as mere obstacles to the neverending war that is RR.

Oh but rodent, why's my spike to nuke not done well? Seemed pretty normal to me, just my drive out was funky.

You are on, mister. The Mablaks must be defeated.

I don't really fancy my chances, though, you just seem to be able to generate more power at the very beginning and then again at the end, saves you almost a second compared to my better runs. But then it would be awesome seeing another second shaved off our times, can't shake the feeling that if the planets aligned perfectly, I could pull it off somehow. Certainly the final Arch would have to be tight, yes, but I've done the top left pump fly at a bit under 9.50 a few times already...

I don't see anything wrong with that Spike either, incidentally. Even if it was done off the side wall instead of the ceiling, it's still a variation of the same trick, and only harder to pull off. It's the Drive Out that should have gotten you disqualified. :D

I said that spike is not good cause he should touch roof, but he did touch wall instead, and I know that it's harder to do... Nothing problematic there, just I told that it's more wrong then drive out :)

Anyway, gjs all and ty for playing... new map will arrive in few moments! :D
