lol what a clown cup, you've wasted my time again kradie, but I should have known better.  3 weeks waiting for an opponent and I get 24 hours to arrange my game or autolose?  I won't even bother to ask why it makes sense, I won't be playing any further games because this cup is trash

Next time put a disclaimer for potential players for your cup - "Moderator reserves the right to be a f@#!ing idiot at any time" so people know

What should have happened is Walrus should have been advanced for making most effort to play his games with his opponents.

That's how I do it anyway, whoever makes the most visible effort.

If you're talking about me, your cup was the only reason I turned on PC after few weeks of being away. Only guy that contacted me and asked me if I'm around was Oliver, but he wasn't even paired to play against me in any stage of knockout phase.
As said already, I feel bad for not being available, but it's summer and people are all over the place. Not giving few more days of deadline for Walrus to play vs Blitzed wasn't good moderating. Also, having way too strict deadlines is not the way as well, imo. In your last Aerial cup I needed to step away after not losing a round in 3-4 games, just because I couldn't make it to my next game.

Deadlines need to be respected, I agree. But it wouldn't kill you to comment here once per week and move deadlines accordingly. For example - last night you should have given Walrus and Dibz few more days to play their match, and no one would get mad.

Sensei, I gave you 20 days extra something I would normally never do. I only did it because I thought I could remedy past wounds. Apparently it just made it worse and now Walrus is also in the mix of it again. I would like to emphasis that YOU Sensei didn't do anything wrong Sensei and neither did Walrus. None of us could expect that you Sensei would have additional problems near deadline too.

I handled the end of the second deadline poorly but mainly out of principle. Deadline is deadline, and that's that. But after seeing Walrus's anger and roast of me I thought I could give him a chance to play against Blitzed. Though something tell me he will not.


I am a firm believer of deadline. As cold as it sound, if people can't follow it by whatever reason, they should bow out. But since we are in this predicament, and where I allowed for one extension, I will have to give it again. But this cup has taught me that I will not grant anyone extension in future cups. Yes it is cold, it doesn't sell well, and people would probably get angry. But remember, real life comes first. If you can't play something for whatever reasons please say so without salt in the mouth. (This is general not targeted to anyone). This is not a personal thing just principle...
