I'm just trying to figure out the "1st - 2nd" option to make sure I don't mess anything up before I click go.

I am reading the instructions but this part I am not yet clear on.. maybe will msg MI for advice 1st.. but Cup will be under way today for sure!

1st 2nd options are only for proceeding the winner and runner up of the groups, but first the games need to be played

Just to make sure 100% I have this correct then

Example

Player 1 beats Player 2
Player 3 beats player 4

I would mark Player 1 and 3 as 1st
and Player 2 and 4 as 2nd
then proceed to knockouts

Is that correct?

example:

Player 1 has 3 wins out from 3 games
Player 2 has 2 wins out from 3 games
Player 3 has 1 win out from 3 games
Player 4 has 0 wins out from 3 games

now what u would want to do is, you would mark Player 1 as 1st and Player 2 as 2nd

Ahh cool so it is what I thought originally, that everybody plays each person in their group once before the 1st and second is decided and moving on to knockouts.

OK great, I think I understand it all now. Like I said at the start I was hosting the cup to learn how as well as have some fun.

I extended the deadline slightly after a couple of people expressed concern that they cant find their opponents on AG.

Again if anybody has problems with the deadline then let me know and we'll try and fix it for you.
