Im not even doing anything lol i wonder why people keep smiting me..Not that it really matters.

I must say that i don't like the TNL scheme. The fact that worms hp drop to 1 is a preditable strategic factor. Wich means that if someone who planns right and keeps count on time can evaluate when SD Will start and use it to their advantage( Blocking enemie players for exempeL)

This is not elite. This is inter. BUt never mind i guess i will simply ask my pairs to use luckless vs me =D

Both schemes have pros and cons - nnn is sometimes ultra boring while tnl lacks in tactics.

What about map choice? Is that open-open-cave by default unless both players agree for caves?

Yes :)

The signups are getting slow. We'll start at 40. 2 more :)
Due to massive misunderstandings: MonkeyIsland refers to an island not a monkey. I would be a monkey, if my name was IslandMonkey meaning a monkey who is or lives on an island. MonkeyIsland is an island which is related to monkeys. Also there's been a legend around saying MonkeyIsland is a game. So please, think of me as an island or a game.

Great.

What about the criteria for creating groups? Does the system consider not to put members from same clan into same group? Somewhere in TUS forum I have read, that this happens surprisingly often. Or do you have skill rated criteria? Pure interest :)

Question to lacoste: Why does TNL scheme promise more eagerness then NNNl does? Since there I have supposed the contradiction. Because in my opinion TNL just prelong the match.

P.S.: I m sure most of NNN's never played TNL scheme before, me also just once..

MonkeyIsland

TUS Cups has a function when pairing groups, called 'smart pair' to avoid people from same clans, communities ... fall into same group. But it has a bug and most of the times it does the opposite :)

Anyway, I'll do a pure pairings rather than using it.

I had in mind waiting for sd in situations which sometimes lasts quite long just to pass 45 sec turn. Thats boring for me, and many people dont like it too. In TNL you cannon count on hp reduction, so chances to win in sd arent much changed in 1v2/3 situations. And hp reduction is just a chance - u can wait whole 10 min just for nothing. In TNL you have an advantage which u worked on whole match, no luck factor at the end.

"P.S.: I m sure most of NNN's never played TNL scheme before, me also just once.."

I played it many times and after all its almost same, better play win:)
I am not TNL hater or lover... for me this new kind of SD is just a detail.

Anyway somehow all top players like Dario,Mablak,Johnmir,SirGorash,Terror and others prefer regular classic intermediate:) that's must mean something....

aw to many pros in my group! gg
Of course, if you suck as roper, you will still suck using finger roll, but you will suck better, faster, harder and more creatively than ever before!

Thanks MI.

Have fun all and best of luck.

P.S.: Since now, promise me 5 wins in row, John! :p

To lacoste: Yea, I got your point. But in a challenge vs. an equal opponent I think its the most fair way and by far the most nicest solution to bring a round to an end. I mean, nobody get surprised by SD. In my opinion the tactic for preparing for SD or trying to avoid his appearance, this is the most difficult and most challenging part of the game :-) Anyway, I m also happy to play our group match with TNL scheme.

I set 10 days for deadline which is a lot I guess. When number of people on a cup increases, it doesn't mean deadline must increase too.

1 egg gets boiled around 6 minutes. 10 eggs get boiled around 6 mintues too ;)

I prefer 4 mins, dont like it too hard.  ;D

But ur right, strong deadline makes sense.
