Description:
Hail To The King Of Lightside

In the time of TUS Cups' great depression one dares to challenge the inactivity and throne the king of the lightside. [no prize money this time]

Participants:
  • Only people, whose played games percentage is 55% or higher are eligible to participate. Additionally I preserve the right to kick anybody at any given time.

Scheme specific rules and other rules:
  • Three worms per player.
  • Every map is played twice in a row.
  • You may only activate low gravity before the immediate use of the uzi gun. You are not allowed to use LG neither for travelling nor in combination with any other weapon but uzi.
  • Games in group stage are best of 7 and best of 11 during KOs.
  • Rude or disrespectful behaviour may and probably will result in a DQ.
  • Disregarding any of the rules will result in a warning or disqualification. Once you are warned it doesn't take much to get disqualified.
  • In unfinished groups activity is prefered over win/loss ratio. (player 1 played all group games and lost all | Player 2 played 2 games and won both | still player 1 proceeds into KOs)
  • If there are players with same amount of points in a (finished) group the won/lost rounds will be considered. Won rounds minus lost rounds equals the difference. The player with the higher difference proceeds. If the difference is the same a tiebreaker will be played.

Deadlines:
  • After the sign ups I will set an activity deadline of seven days. Those, who neither play at least one game not arrange a game publicly within that time lapse will be replaced. Afterwards a second deadline of another ten days will be set. All group games will have to be played before we meet the second deadline. And remember, I'm not here to babysit you, I provide you an opportunity to measure your skill with some of the best players, so think ahead and plan your games early. It's best you play them all right away. As usual there is no chance of postponing the deadline.
  • Please, arrange games in this thread, so I will be provided with maximum amount of information to make a reasoned decision, when a possible walk over has to take place.

Waiting list:
  • Jakka
  • FaD
Have fun!

Hey Phanton can you play this evening or tomorrow? I will be there in AG now and tomorrow from 17-22 GMT

Btw the last time I called you in MSN and when you agreed to play, you didn't show up. So pls proceed me if Phanton won't show up, since I won all other games :/

So you are saying there already was an agreement, but Phanton didn't show up. Since Phanton didn't reply to this in any manner and otherwidse didn't put much effort in getting the games played, I will have to give a walkover.

KOs started. Make haste!

Shouldn't argo and Ciufa be in the loser bracket?
Or is it over already?

DE doesn't make sense with 4 people KO. I'm waiting for Jakka's confirmation to change this to SE.
Due to massive misunderstandings: MonkeyIsland refers to an island not a monkey. I would be a monkey, if my name was IslandMonkey meaning a monkey who is or lives on an island. MonkeyIsland is an island which is related to monkeys. Also there's been a legend around saying MonkeyIsland is a game. So please, think of me as an island or a game.

I don't know why it doesn't make sense for you. For it makes same sense with 4 as with 8 or 16 players (The top 3 are sorted by merit). Sorry for late answer.

EDIT:
If however it is inconvenient for you to code double elimination for 4 people, you are free to convert this one into single elimination.

Sorry Jakka, the system is not coded to support DE for small number of people. I converted it to SE. :(

Alright, can you return the result of Kayz vs nappy as final?
EDIT: I'm talking about the replay pack. Please attach it to the results of the final game if you can.

I think Ciufa is on winter vacation. Anyway, I'm able to play anyday mostly from 16 to 23:00 GMT.

Ciufa has 7 days to reply here. If not, bronze medal goes to argo by default.
