Description:
Alright, time to add the other Poll Cups to the public cups!
Third most popular pick was Bungeerace, so here it goes :)

General rules
  • Place your worm on start, bungeerace to the finish.
  • Small short cuts are allowed, but if there's an error in the map that allows you to skip several jumps, you're not allowed to use that.
  • Blocking is not allowed. If your opponent is blocked by your worm, move out of the way and skip turn.
  • If somebody drowns and kills his last worm, the game must restart at the last positions the worms were in and the surviving player starts.
  • If you teleport back to a spot after drowning your worm, your opponent must skip turn.
  • If there are multiple worms and someone accidentally moves the wrong worm, his opponent must skip turn.
  • If you mess up your bungee and have to redo a few jumps, you can not teleport back.
  • If you fall down because your opponent knocks you, you are allowed to teleport back and your opponent must skip turn.

Activity rules
  • Games in the group phase are best of 1.
  • Games in the knockout phase are best of 3.
  • Deadlines for each round are 2 weeks.
  • If you can't play your games within the deadline (vacation, exams, opponent not online), post in this forum, so I can make exceptions.

And finally, please arrange your game if you can't find your opponent! If your opponent is hard to reach because of time zones or active clanning/single league, it would help enormously if there's one day/time when your opponent can find you.

The summer vacation time is almost over, which means deadlines are coming back to TUS cups!
The deadline for this cup is September 5th 00:00 GMT
Since the rounds have taken a long time already, I'm going to need people to arrange their games in the cup threads. After all, you would've found your opponent already if waiting for them had worked.
This is how you arrange a game.
QuoteLet's play our game next Sunday at 8PM GMT
This is not how you arrange games
  • Hey, meet me in AG anytime
  • I can't find my opponent!
  • I messaged my opponent, but he didn't answer
  • Yeah, we'll play our game soon
  • Let me know when you can play!
  • Let's play in an hour
Remember: if you're slow in your own cup, you will make it impossible for others to host new cups.

Nope, I was keeping the games up for the rereport. Now they're gone.

Guess we need to play again, Kayz and Joschi!

May I suggest we play them in one setting so we don't get the same problem?
How does saturday 8PM german time sound?

chakkman

Haah a triple knockout, that rocks. :) GL guys.

Joschi

Aaargh... I have written a post yesterday in this forum. Now no sign of it...

I wanted to answer you, D1. Kayz is in sweden for vacations. I don't know when he comes back.

I only can play week days, monday til friday. Maybe sunday evening too.. I will PM you when I will have time.

Kayz

DarkOne

Hi!
Since it's summer time now (vacations and all) I'm not going to be strict with deadlines.
I'll send out some reminders, though :)
I won vs Kayz in the playoffs but I forgot to report yesterday. I still need to play Joschi (as does Kayz!).
If Kayz beats Joschi and Joschi beats me, I suggest we all get in one game and play :)

someolduser

I forfeit my matches in this tournament.

DarkOne

I gave OREL a whole week to arrange a game and he hasn't. So I guess group 1 is decided now

NinjaCamel

yap, genreakablind and orel havent answered to my pms since this cup started
"since most people tend to the order side, its my job to spread chaos" -peja

Joschi

Okey, to give this tourney a last chance I sign out. Both of my opponents didn't showed a lot of interested in playing with me. I don't have an idea why. I admit, that I wasn't hunting them. But after I have asked them once, both didn't showed any interest to play the game too.

DarkOne

Decisions for the groups as they stand now
Group 2: Haksch seems to be going to the next round.
However, if his opponents are making an effort to get the games played, while he is not could easily be changed (there's no point in having inactive players in the knockout phase)

Group 3: Turko is out. He hasn't been on TUS for a long time and doesn't seem interested.
lales and Inza have to play eachother for the second spot. If neither of them makes any effort, group 3 will not have a runner up.

PM sent to remaining players in the group phase:

Haksch hasn't been online for almost a month now.

Sorry for the delay! Finals time :)

And done! Congrats, Dulek, well earned indeed :) The second game ought to be included in a challenge of this map, it was over before I had time to register the game started
