BnG Tournament 24th June 7:30pm GMT
« on: June 23, 2010, 09:05 AM »
BnG Tournament - Thursday 24th June 7:30pm GMT (Tonight)

In worms channel - #PartyTime

1on1, knockout style.

a2b rules and a2b scheme (a2b scheme attached to thread)

Rules are as follows:

# No straight bazooka shots.
# No sitters.
# No repeat shots.

    * If you hit someone for 34 HP or less with a shot, you can't use that same shot again until you have either hit them with a different one, or you or they have moved.
    * If you hit someone for 35 HP or more with a shot, you can't use that same shot again until either you or they have moved.

# No 5 second grenades unless used with low gravity or max bounce
# All shots should be aimed to explode on impact with the opponents worm.
# Re-aim the crosshair between every turn, regardless of whether you landed a hit last turn or not.
# Don't teleport too close to your opponent's worm (try to stay at least half the map away).
# No notching unless you can't help it (ie, your perfect aim is 1 or 2 taps off vertical).
# No telecides (teleporting on your opponent when you have low health in order to inflict grave damage on them).
# No defensive girders, only use girders for bouncing nades.

I know this is short notice, but I have nothing to do tomorrow night so I felt like hosting a BnG tournament, I personally will NOT be taking part, only hosting it.

Will start with at least 8 players, max 32 players.

Good luck and Have fun ! - You gotta be in it, to win it !

**This thread will be moved to Tournaments section once fixed**

I hope I'll be there.

But can we use a normal BnG scheme ? Drill and Firepunch are pretty usefull.
Watashi wa, jinmei ni iku sa reru ka o kakunin surunoni nagai jikan o matteita.
Shikashi, tada nariyuki o mimamoru.
Jikan dake to iudarou gen'in to naru.

May the force be with you.

Nope, if you look at the scheme, there are 6 tele's and 3 torches, and when you think about it, these are more useful than firepunch and drill, drills shouldn't be in BnG anyway, some people just use them to drill way under to be lame, and when you firepunch, you give enemy a big chance to transfer you.

Better without, trust me :)

Unless both players agree you can use whatever scheme you want.

But the final will be hosted by myself, and will have a2b scheme and rules applied.

Wooho, I've just remembered (and I've completely forgot about it) when U were hosting weekly BnG Tournaments, was it on WWP or what.. it was every wednesday or smth like that.. ? It was awesome!
So, is this tradition coming back or this is just a flyout?

Tho, I'm not sure I'll be there tonight.. :-X
maybe..

It was every Thursday night, and it was here lol, but when it was TuT.

I am thinking about doing it every week again, BUT, because of my lifestyle now, I might not be able to make it EVERY week, we'll see.
