[Free] Hysteria Cup Groups!

Weeeeeeee, it's finally time to start! And about bloody time too! I acknowledge I was a little slow getting these groups up after we filled the sign-ups, so I spent extra time and effort on making some BRAND SPANKING NEW TABLES! I think they look marvelous, but if anyone has complaints, I'll surely remove them and swap them for the old (Ugly) ones :P

By the way, yes! Those little mail icons give a straight link to Private Message your opponents! Make sure you USE THEM


Anyway lets get to it! You know the drill, boys and girls

  • We're playing BO3 (Best of 3) games against each opponent, using THIS scheme only.
  • Teams of 5 worms each
  • No rules!




I wish you all the best of luck, and hope you all have fun playing your games! I would love to see this whole cup proceed without any hitches! But hey this is Hysteria, what could go wrong!? xD

It's all lovely! But why didn't u put 4 players at each group in first stage? This way 16 players get to next stage... Taking 16 from 48 is a bit cut off, a? If u made groups of 4 players u get 24 in next stage (with 2 winners from each group)...
and then u have 24-12-6 and 3 finalists...
huh? seems too long?

Your make a very fair point, but my main intention was to keep these groups as simple as possible - We all know the troubles of trying to arrange games with a bunch of different players. In groups of three, each player needs only to organise 2 games for this whole stage, so no excuses can be made.

In my experience, the biggest problems are games not being played, leading to stages being held up for everyone else; Something I don't think anybody wants

But this is very early stages, and choices could be made to either include your idea of increasing the groups to 4 players, or increasing the pass numbers to 2 - Meaning only one player from each group drops out in this stage

I will be happy to hear ideas from anyone and everyone else on this matter :D

A month time to play 3 games? Lol.. these cups take way too long, take a look at Elite Cup, you can say it's dead.

And I added an extra week onto my originally planned deadline, simply for the number of players in the cup. A month sounds like a long time, but it will undoubtedly pass quickly. These cups are to be enjoyed leisurely :)

ROFL @ another weak.. If it would be my tourney I would give only 1 week for f@#!ing "maximum" 3 games, what the f@#!?? Dude, we are playing 2-3 games, not 200.. I could finish this whole tourney in 1.5 weeks, no doubt. Whatever.

You could, but there might be some people who need more than a week. I don't agree with a month for 6 games neither, maybe two weeks would be the perfect.

There are many names on that list that I know are not so active, and arranging these games may take a while. The cups (Note: Not a tournament) are not here to be rushed, they are here to include anyone and everyone who wants to play and compete against others. A little patience will be a virtue here, not only to yourself but for others aswell

If the demand is high enough, I will lower the deadline to 3 weeks instead of 4, but I know from experience that any less if asking for seemingly unfair judgments to be made at the end of the deadline
