The drop happened very late in the game and happened on lalo's starting turn, resulting l3x to have 2 consecutive turns. There were no major abuse of piling either. The game stands.
Due to massive misunderstandings: MonkeyIsland refers to an island not a monkey. I would be a monkey, if my name was IslandMonkey meaning a monkey who is or lives on an island. MonkeyIsland is an island which is related to monkeys. Also there's been a legend around saying MonkeyIsland is a game. So please, think of me as an island or a game.

I really try to understands your decisions, but they make no sense. You made a rule against surrender yet you dont have concerns if someone drops. You tell people to not quit games, you even have a rule for that. Yet quitting  is the only way to get rematch if someone drops out. There doesnt seem to be Any plan or idea besides all that. People come away with quitting and rejecting rematches (after their mate dropped) lately.

You are trying to find manuals for every possible situation in games. There aren't any. That's because we have "mod discretion".

Lalo drops in min-25 in SD, while leading . That's nowhere near the "surrender abuse" or similar situations. That even favored +44 more damage + another turn for l3x. After that avirex is not even piling and playing the old SD tactic. (hide near a worm who is about to play the next turn)

ofc he doesnt pile to avoid an easy attack since its sd.

"mod discretion" is useless there since you just failed your job. this complaint shouldnt even exist. i ask you since 2 f@#!ing years how i should handle such situations, still you are unable to give me any guide.
furthermore your decisions should follow some basic idea behind.
just an example:
you forbid using surrender: reason: games are played 2 vs 2 until players die.

you made an statement there, based on an basic idea.

now we come to drops: game stands: reason they had 2 turns and there was a lead

now explain me one thing: if the basic structure of a clanner means enough for you to forbid using surrender, how can a clan force a win after a dropout even then other side wants a rehost? (consider you could even recreate the exact same situation)

of course the situations arent the same, still your decisions should fit to each other instead of standing in conflict.
there are always 2 sides in a complaint, both of them have their reasons. for me it looks like you rather select one side based on your feeling than doing a serious analyse based on your former decisions.

peja, MI is right.. it like you want some in depths, detailed rule books, that is 1,000 pages long, describing every possible situation that will ever arise...

then the mods will just come here and say something like "refer to page G11, A52- Section C of the D-Eleven Situations, GAMES VOID"

this is worms man, there is no way to write a detailed book, and if you think you can do it, you should!!! im sure the mods will thank you, when their job is easier, and dont have ppl bitching at them over every decision...  make sure you add a very detailed index, so they can find each situation easily tho!!

MI made the right choice... peja, your acting like i did not give l3x the chance to rehost... everyone knows after a drop you dont have to "finish the game" you f@#!ing quit and RH... UNLESS YOU WANT TO CONTINUE!  they did not decide one way or another for 3 complete turns... the game is standing, as MI said. thnx MI.

Both avirex and Devilage have history of making trouble on TUS. If my choice was between someone like DarkOne and one of them, yes you could accuse me.

you forbid using surrender: reason: games are played 2 vs 2 until players die.

Behind every rule there's a reason. Without that reason, that rule will be silly and redundant.
Surrendering or quitting in clanners is forbidden, yes. The reason is to force the game to be team against team, otherwise it could be one skilled player vs another team. That will also cover tactics like turn advantage abuse.

A roper game in min 25, which is currently in SD, a player from the leading team drops. Not only the drop didn't give the leading team an advantage, but it resulted an extra turn for l3x,  (which obviously not you, not even avirex noticed).
So in overall, the leading team loses one worm, practically skips a turn and doesn't abuse turn advantage and you wonder why surrender rule is not getting applied there?

MI, i noticed that dibz did not get a turn, there for it gay l3x a consecutive turn...

i was just willing to continue the game, if l3x agreed...  he continued playing his turn, with intention to hit (missed) he watched me play my turn, and he watched his mate take a turn with intention to hit (but missed)

it wasn't until then that he decided he wanted to RH, and thats just not fair, peja.. in since you feel so strongly that l3x deserved to be able to RH, at what point would you consider it unfair for them to demand at???

should they be allowed to continue playing until my very last "kill drop"?? and then ask for RH right b4 i killed them?? and its still fair, because my team had the lag out?? or... whats your thoughts on it??

seems like you dont understand me. i dont accuse you of beeing biased. i think you give your best tryin to be fair and consider each side.
but i think you decide after your understanding of Fairnes basicly out of a gut instinct. imo you lack on same kind of system or hermeneutics. basicly you should be able to confirm every single decision with a direct link to past decisions and beeing able to explain the values you are weighing up against each other. this way you would be able to see a greater picture and your decisions would be based on a logical set of rules and values which are    complementary to each other.

on topic: i noticed the drop gave advantage to l3x. i also noticed they wanted the rehost after game went bad for them. we could even agree thats kinda lame. but in the end the same thing applies which you already said:
The reason is to force the game to be team against team. yes clanning is team vs team. it wasnt team vs team anymore after the drop. everything what happened after that wasnt anymore in any intention of the origin sense of this game. thats why a rehost should be obligatory in such a case. once again you could recreate the exact same situation, there shouldnt be even a discussion there.

from a gut feeling you did the right thing, dt really deserved to win this one. but from a methodic viewpoint your decision was wrong.

One of their player dropped, isnt that reason enough to rh according ur own rules? eventho the game has to be played til the end so we can make a complaint afterwards depending the winner/loser team, both sides had reason to continue playing by their own benefit, but as we continue making choices by our own sake, we will never stick to the rules that you have implemented during the seasons, enjoy your win, avirex.

It's like all sports, the umpire makes the decision and people agree/disagree, at the end of the day his decision is final.

ok peja, finally you are saying what l3x did was lame..

thank you!

but peja, im not sure how you can expect tus mods to scroll through all past complaints looking for a reference to base their next decision on... and im also not sure how you can expect a rule book to be made, that covers every situation that will arise on worms... worms is the most unpredictable game, it can never be done!

if you think you can come up with a rule book to cover all situations, i encourage you to try... maybe you will surprise me.

no topic: i dont understand how l3x can even be mad at me, and try to accuse me of being lame, i offered them to rehost several times, they can not wait until they see they are in a clear disadvantage before deciding they want to rehost...

Devilage, your acting as if i did not allow a rehost, if your f@#!ing clan were good sports, they would ask for the rehost right way, and there would be nothing i can do about it...  in fact, i would have enjoyed a rehost.

but when he continues playing, with intent to hit me... then the game goes on..

so yes, im going to enjoy my win devilage.. u lame shit

MI should lock this thread, before l3x opens another complaint in a different game :D

i dont talk about a huge rule book, i would only add 1 rule i already have suggested.
and well i always thought tus mods have some kind of evaluation system, at least that would be the reason for their priv forum.
like i wrote in another thread it wouldnt be that much work. most of the complaints are simple like wrong schemes etc.
but when it comes down to the usual stuff of 4 pages drama it would be useful and effective to gather information.
these complaints are like 5 or 10 % of all. just making a topic about the game, and write down reasons for both sides including the reasons for your mod decision.  after an year you can look at your 10 or 20 complaints and you are able to evaluate your work.its a normal thing to do when you try to have progress.

about league organisation evualuation we could think on automatic sent messages with an multiple choice interview. works better than polls.
