Actually I'm enjoying to have all these ideas now. Thanks for them ^^

Personally have no problem with 3 kinds of legaue --> 6 leagues total (clanners and singles)
But the question is how much the site would be crowded ?
I hate the leagues which no one plays them.

In the programming world, I made this site till now sooner than expected. The reason was I saw people are registering and I didn't like to make people wait. (I don't like someone make me wait )

I will create all these 3 type of leagues (sounds fine to me), But the real question is how many people would be playing them?

Here's what i think

regular league, rotated OR free league (not both), clan league with regular schemes. I think that's enough, having more would just be messy and not active enough.

@MonkeyIsland: I also think we should discuss points and ratings system and that kind of stuff. Or did u already decide about it?

 i think the classic league would be most active by far, rotated would be less active probably like WEL, if you do rotated you should probably stick to the classic schemes along with maybe a few of the more popular free league schemes and i dont think you need a clan section for rotated either i doubt it would get played... unless there ends up alot more clans on wormnet

I myself am more into a free league. I think a rotate scheme would work best for the "CUPS" section of the site.

Choosing what to play between classic or free league, depends on the person or the clan taste or what mood they are in that moment. That's what I'm thinking atm.

Yes, I totally agree too.
So if I could understand well: the rare schemes would go to Cups, one classic league for the six basic schemes and one rotated league for the basic schemes and a few more, like Intermediate, Hysteria? That sounds perfect for me.

One Classic League
One Free League

The Free League will contain all the schemes(That we define, Not ANY scheme), Including all the classic league schemes.
It means that in a free league your opponent can pick BnG but you can challenge him to a Bungeerace.

Rotated schemes, All will go to the site CUPS section. They can be rare schemes or not , All rotatings will go to CUPS.

and how do you want to put these together? I mean that winning the classic league is more important than winning the free league in my opinion, and if there is an overall standing table, where someone beats another player by picking Bungeerace 30 times in free league... that just doesnt sound too fair :\

Winning by playing 30 times BnG or TTRR sounds fair but by BungeeRace it doesn't ?

I think classic and free are equal.
Like wrestling, you know? There are 2 types, don't know what you call them

In one type you are not allowed to beat your opponent by using his legs (grabbing or so...)  (Classic)
In the other you are allowed to do more things. (Free)

I've seen people who like the classic one more, or like the Free one more.

The only reason IMO that people do not like an scheme is their lack of practice. Can you name someone who know how to play bungeerace and dislikes it at the same time too?

thats why each player picks a scheme, a bungee pro can pick bungee, but they would have to play your scheme too

how about limiting the amount of scheme picks per player in the free league, that would solve the problem...like u can only pick bungee race 8 times per season.

edit: but just like monkey said, same thing in the normal league when some1 always picks the same schemes^^ of course ppl pick the scheme that they think they most likely win in

Good ideas here.I think ladder system should be better if you guys going to create more than two leagues.Actually,God2k was going for this 2 years ago but he didn't find some coders to do that.
For an example:Default Ladder,include default schemes;Elite,Intermediate,Team17,BnG,Dabble,Hysteria,etc...
Rope Ladder,include rope schemes;Roper,Rope Race,Variation of Shoppers,Wascar,Bungee Race(xD),etc...
Pro Ladder,This is mix of Default and Rope Ladders.
You can also add Fun Ladder,There is many funny schemes for this like BnA,Boom Race,Battle Race,Mole Shopper,Golf,Wfw,Plopwar,Jetpack Race,etc...
But some schemes should be arranged to play fair in the league,like Hysteria,Dabble,Intermediate(NNN Luckless would be cool),etc...

Isn't this ladder like people can pick only schemes in that specific ladder ?
If so I have no problem with that. But other people want it too ? 
Doesn't it limit people playing specific ladders ? for example some people never want to play default ladder and always want to play rope ladder etc ...

I think people more want to have various options to pick.
Correct me if I'm wrong here.
