The Ultimate Clanner Shit and Fairplay

atm im seriously wondering whats going on with some clans related to a fair play philosophy.
l3x has no problems taking a win for an unfinished game after they refused to change a map after a drop. the fact they would have rehosted on the same map clearly shows that even they know it is not decided. after some drama and a questionable mod decission there is nothing left from this awareness.
next case: rwa (well basicly was chelsea) has no problems cheating themselv to a hysteria win by abusing a drop of their own members. chelsea as the leader should be an example for his clanmates how to get clanners fair done and respecting the other team.

in general: shouldnt it be the goal for every clan to win clanners in  a fair way? do some louzy points justify a disrespectful behavior? whats the deal just replaying games when they are not finished without any drama?
it is really not impossible showing some respect and act friendly in such situations. many clans do this, but its still a shame some doesnt.

if a drop happens just replay the f@#!ing game, exept both sides agree instantly to continue.. if the situation during the drop is horrible and game is already decided give the win. if the player isnt available anymore arrange for some other time when both clans are ready to play.  when players keep dropping and all are already bored of  a rm do the same.

on a funny sidenote: we now have a fair play community but it seems like they doesnt give a shit and are busy smoking pot and celebrating their hippie culture.

some time ago we had a clanner with dt where husk left the game, to get a cupgame done,  after beeing killed but he forgot he was the host.  dt was waiting like half an hour for us and we agreed not report if we win cos we basicly lost when husk quitted.

im kinda feeling like a total idiot for doing this when i look how other clans handle such situations in an unfair way and even get backup by moderators.
i had the hope if players act like jerks maybe moderators would show signs into the right direction. but currently they decided to reward the clan with the most impressive achievement in history of this league with 2 undeserved defeats.

ofc they have a hard job and act after the rules on this site, but this just shows how sloppy the league rules on tus are.

first: rules appear seperated on this homepage, some basic parts can be found in leagues/basic informations. other are just released by announcements hidden in the forum. no wonder its hard for players to know about them when they are not even collected on 1 part of this page.

second: the rules lack on accuracy. so far we dont have anything related what happens during drops in clanners. this means mods are forced taking decissions on their feelings, but they cant back up their decissions with a straight rule.
another problem is that rules being released in some kind of beta state. they are not clear enough. rules should usually  capture every aspect of a case. with a look on the announcements related to aliasing or the map picks its easy to see many aspect are not clear.  if you ask to make them clear you usually get this answer: in difficult cases moderators will look on every complaint and judge it.

i have no clue who to blame for situations like in the 2 mentioned complaints. if players would act more respectful mods wouldnt have this work..if mods wouldnt allow loopholes in the rules players wouldnt try to find and abuse them.

there's another thing: a clan yesterday was clanning with 2 alias members. i don't think this can be called a "fair" thing, especially if one of them is not registered with that clan, especially if those people are probably both in another clan. i won't tell which clan (the tag ends in "3x", the alias name ends in "gD" and this is probably a girl with a name einding in "aina" clanning with a friend of her, aliased with the name of "olo" and his real nick probably ending in "alo").

Orange, if you have something to say to me and Daina, speak clear and don't be a pussy pretending to crack a joke. It's hilarious how people panic when seeing old players coming back and they steal few points as I suppose they did versus dt, if you ask me though, I am not ''solo''? and daina is not TgD. However, as an old wwp player, let me share some info and tell you that both were pretty skilled players back in the day. I think Daina was pretty clear about this issue a while ago and if you dt guys still hesitate just make your own researches or avoid them.

I don't think fp community will ever be contribution to this game since everyone have a different point of view of what fair play is, besides we're in different stages in this game. New players are usually starving for points and will do anything to progress in the standings picking hyst or t17 constantly, inviting people to join tus and then abuse playing 10 games versus them, reporting if their opponents have dropped and don't show up in 5 minutes and so on just because they're sticking to the rules.
These situations have happened all the time, just get over it. People will abuse the rules, report unfinished games, twist the rules to get advantage no matter there're thousands of fp communities. If you're in need to show what fair play is for you, play singles or clanners and give the example being a kind opponent, maybe someday someone will notice that.

Profe, stop trying to make your way through TuS teaching us your highly valuable ideas and values, you'd better start with your clan and your own, because a leader of a fair play community repeating elite maps is a poor example of leader:

lalo, if you'll add to your personal "fair play" rules this maps issue and all people agree, then Professor won't do it cuz he is a part of the community, that's the point... fp is not gonna dictate their rules, just recommendations all members should follow.

The problem with rules is that people will find a way around them - every time. It's why good lawyers are good lawyers (and are usually hired by guilty people - they get off on technicalities).
As was pointed out by someone (I believe it was ropa? correct me if I'm wrong) - there's too much stuff and too many rules on the site.
I'd love to include moderator discretion as a larger role in complaint solving, but we can't really do that either - people would complain of favouritism (and perhaps not wrongly so either).
Another option is that the community would act on bad reputation - if a players keeps abusing free wins, everybody avoid him. But we've seen that doesn't work.

Lalo, i have a lot of elite maps skeleton-basis and every game i use one of them to edit.

U pointed 3 situations about when i used same maps, but u didnt point the others situations where i edited  them  and more: if a player ask me to change the map, i ll do np. I never refused to change the map for my opponents.

Cmon, are u saying about the map was the reason why u lost for us? 

About fp community, I agree with You, Lalo. But Statik was clear: fair play is not a rule comunnity, fp is a community where we are free to discuss about each situation, to think the best way to solve it. We just want to make a place to get good solutions for TUS.

dt lost no points because of any old coming back. since your reply is so serious: l3x played a clanner vs me and avirex. it was TgD with another unknown player not registered. when we realized that wasn't a legit clanner we just stopped playing them, no problems. my post here was just a joke to push some drama. relax dude, take it like it is, just a funny DRRRAMAA.
