Is it even worth it to release a new TTRR mappack?

I'm working in a new linear mappack with 50 maps, edited half of them already but honestly...
Is it even worth it? I realeased a TTRR mappack past year but they have only few games played each, there are even maps that wasnt played EVER. Not sure about funners, even my mappack announcement was ignored at that time.

Very different case from my 2010 TTRR mappack which had 5k+ downloads and hundreds of games played each. There's a lot of TTRR fans yet sticking around but still a disappointment for every map creator.
Tell me your thoughts, this could be a yearly achievement, I mean, new mappacks every year.  :)

Well no one gets really excited about mappacks, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't release them. Personally I appreciate new maps and tend to pick them more often, others stick to their favorites and play them over and over (like Berria maps in wxw).

If you are doing it for the fame and to have them played hundreds of times then don't bother, but I'm sure they will be appreciated by some.

So it depends what you mean by "worth it"

The only reason I make maps is because I love doing it :)

So go ahead and release your maps, it will be appreciated.

Schemes I mostly play: Big RRz and Roperz.

By worth it, I mean the work, a mappack is not done in a couple of minutes, it requires days to develop them, so it might be frustating to make them for "ghosts". Enjoyed your opinion.  :)
