Ehh, it's kinda 28 pages of text long explanation, and after U read that 28 pages U still ain't sure if U understand it.. So, lets better keep it out of discussion...

At the beginning (for the last 2-3 years) it was not pathetic, it was kinda persistently and thoughtful of him in a way, but really, from the present tense point of view it kinda do grows to pathetic, ye..
