I am a fan of Hank Williams and Johnny Cash, and there are a few songs by Taylor Swift that I like specially Love Story that I think it's not on Korydex's list (I didn't pay attention to all tracks there). This song is played a lot on the radio and the lyrics are silly, but I like it:

I will share other songs that I like and that surely is not on Korydex's list. It's from a different country music style that is mostly listened in Brazil, but I listened to a song that was played in a Club in France in 2011 when I was there, and people from several countries were enjoying it, including Polishes and germans. I will not share this song because in my opinion is a shitty song and the lyrics are even worse.

The name of this style of Brazil is "Sertanejo" (Brazilian Country music) and it can be divided in two categories/eras. The oldest songs are called by some people "Caipira" (Redneck) and they are indeed great quality melodies and lyrics. I enjoy Caipira music. Here is an example of a song:

There's also this song (no video) by a duo of blacks that are one of the most important people in this genre (it's below). There are not many black artists in Country Brazilian music, in the past there were some, but the current groups (Sertanejo Universitário, read about it below) are all white people.

The other category is called "Sertanejo Universitário" (University Country) not because it is an intellectual style, but because it is played mostly in cities for young people who have money to go out. It is mainly played on clubs and people dance in pairs. This style I don't enjoy. In my opinion 95% of the songs and the lyrics are disgusting, but there are a few ones that are great, specially the ones that have women singing, something that is extraordinary to see, because historically there were almost zero women artists in this style.

This is one example of a recent Sertanejo song that I deeply appreciate with women singing and the lyrics are beautiful and well written (it is an unofficial music video of the original track which is a live recorded track of a live album, and the images of the woman singing is the official artist on a live show):
