Spacebar

Anyone know a safe way to take the spacebar off? I seemed to have f@#!ed mine. Keeps getting stuck down, need to take a look see.

P.s what a piece of shit keyboard. Broke space in 2 months. Most other keyboards take atleast 6 months.

he mentioned the plastic tool for dismantling tarantulas keys. I don't think that it will work with non razer keyboards.

If thats a cheap keyboard you prolly need to untwist and change "rubber pillows" to another ones you dont use (like power key), or take undestroyed from another keyboard. Same happened to me with few buttons. Just u need to be sure undestroyed pillows stay on each button when you are gonna to close keyboard. Its safe, just a bit patience needed.

Warning to all razer keyboard owners. Hitting space as hard as you can will cause damage quickly lol. Luckily I doubt anyone hits space as hard as I do though.

The tarantula tool does not take the spacebar off. Anyone succesfully taken a spacebar off and could help me out here? I'm scared of breaking the tabs off that the wire thingies hook onto

Heh, I never understood how people could break their spacebar so fast.  I had used the same one at my desktop for 4 years until I switched to my laptop a year ago. never broke a spacebar and my laptop is the greatest computer i've played worms on :p
