The ability he posesses, has value, is all I am saying, I hope he realises it. (He prolly already does lol...)

I think it's just the ability to be perseverant. Maybe with a little help of global screen elements analysis and rhythm sensibility developed by a huge amount of hours playing japaneses rhythm games like beatmania IIDX.

In comparison with other french shmup players, I haven't an especially fast progression.
I just never give up, like I did when I was a WA player. :P
(Ok I gave up on few games. DoDonPachi DaiOuJou and Tetris Grand Master made me feel sick.  :D

backwash, that's exactly what I am talking about lol.

There are millions of people in the world with "potential" but not as many who realise it, or know how to use their talents in other ways.

For example, if I had never played WA, I would never have the "competitors" mentality, in real life, I am rarely nervous while competing against anyone in anything, and that comes down to continously winning competitive games where the "mental stakes" of the challenge are ridiculously high, because we here on WA make such a big fuss about winning/losing at times.

I have spent the last 13 years playing various games online and i've picked up some mad/interesting/cool skillsets that I implement into other parts of my life on a daily basis, these things are now starting to pay off.

What I am trying to say, is, don't limit yourself to like, just 1 or 2 things(not saying you did anyway lol), branch out, see what else you own at/enjoy doing with other people.

The fact you are SOOO damn good at this, can make other people look like complete retards(and really impress people) when you use these abilities for other things in real life.

@Cueshark : Only few times. It's a cool game but I used to prefere beatmania. However i had the luck to go 4 month in korea 3 or 4 years ago for studies, and I really enjoyed DJ Max Technika. It's the best tactile game imho.

@Komito I see what you mean. But I don't really imagine something where I could transpose this kind of abilities, except for video games (I used to be good player of Dance Dance Revolution few years ago - finished 2nd on 2010's french cup). I started to play electric guitar few weeks ago... and I sweat blood like everybody. :D I would learn it like I did for rhythm games, but that don't look possible... There is more examples. I'm surfing for 2 or 3 years, and I'm still very bad despite 5 years of skateboarding (but I enjoy it  ;) ). Maybe by lack of time, but I don't see how shmup or rhythm games could help me.

Anyway, I'm curious about your own experience.

Well, no one becomes the best at anything overnight, well, except people who learned how to notch BnG :D

Ahaha I was good at DDR also, I didn't get into it as much as I could have, because of, music, girls, WA, BF2, etc.

But I made and maintained the #1 record on both dance machines at the UCI Cinema at Kinnaird Park Edinburgh, before they torn the UCI down :'(

That thing was such a god damn babe magnet seriously, me and my mate would get a new girl every damn week and always had crowds gathered, well, back when it was actually cool, and not community based kinda like WA is lol.

Honestly, that was a sad day for many many many people when they torn that place down...

My best thing imo was doing Afronova on Expert and getting AA, I f@#!ed up the AAA cuz I slipped at the end and got an excellent instead of the perfect... Bah...

I can still do it pretty decent to the average person lol like but nowhere near as good as I used to be haha.

And btw, it really comes down to what kinda person you are, are you bothered for starters lol? Do you WANT to be better or you don't care? Sometimes I feel it's more a curse than a gift that I get so instantly obsessed with anything new I enjoy, for example:

I discovered the WA game Darts that SiD invented just over a week ago when M3ntal told me over the phone about it, I ended up playing it for 9 hours solid with Alien and we ended up making dS - Darts n Stuff the community and we gonna do Tourneys and Cups etc.

I know I don't really have the time to do shit like this these days with how ridiculously serious my music has became, but it's just such an addictive scheme, I actually enjoy it more than BnG/Hysteria and Warmers put together, and it's one of the most competitive schemes i've ever played, there is no luck, whatsoever, not one bit. You get rebounds as you do in real life darts (when dart hits metal bracket and bounces out, so dart doesn't get added) but this isn't luck, it was YOUR timing etc, so it's YOUR fault, not good luck or bad luck.

Really, I don't know why this scheme wasn't found earlier, I hope it gets into main league someday, I know right off there are so many "up-their-own-ass" oldschool players these days that won't even give it a chance, some even more so, won't play it just because of the fact it's me, Komito, promoting this scheme lol.

Their loss lol.

Why did this thread turn out like this when the title clearly suggests it's supposed to be about TdC?

A girl a week sounds pretty Damn cool.  What happened to each girl though?  Did you get rid of each girl on a weekly basis or have multiple girls on the go at once?

If you used this dance machine to basically be a womaniser then I don't think it was a particular nice thing to do.
