How to run W:A on Windows 8?
« on: December 09, 2012, 07:57 PM »
Today I installed W:A in my Windows 8, but sadly I got this incompatibility:

This way, I'm not allowed to pick scheme or map, also when I start the game I can only see a black screen, that's all.
What can I do?
A new updating coming, maybe?

Dec 30 2013 23:59:44 <StepS> windowed mode isn't the only thing you need about frontend
Dec 30 2013 23:59:49 <StepS> you need it to be actually bigger
Dec 31 2013 00:00:13 <StepS> it actually is very small on my 15-inch full HD screen
Dec 31 2013 00:00:25 <StepS> while running at 640x480 or stretched mode makes it fuzzy
Dec 31 2013 00:00:44 <StepS> this problem has been around since the Worms Armageddon's release and no one has even tried to beat it

Hey, method 2 worked but I have too much lag, really much, I can't even move my worm in the game, exactly like this.
Btw the menu is a bit lagged also, how can I fix it?

Why do you have to come back?  Your retirement was going really well.   :D

Actually I'm not planning to comeback, I am moderator of a W:A community at Orkut.com, and I need to know more tips to help others.
By the way don't struggle to try annoy me, I've changed, I'm not going to take part in your jokes, I've been avoiding to post here due of that.

Finally, but I moved to windows 7 yesterday... Anyways, that's good to remove some bugs.
StepS call Kawoosh to update wkKawooshkick.dll , wkLocalizer.dll and rubber now.  :D

edit: Teh first thing Ive noticed, is that W:A menu is loading extremely fast, especially when I click to go to map editor and teams. VGJ t17.
