Problems running Wormkit
« on: December 13, 2012, 11:57 AM »
Hi

i have to use wormkit to host and today when i tried to run the program my AVG anti virus said that macdlock had a trojan virus associated with it and was infected, if i ignored the warning it still wouldn't run.

I then put the dll file into the anti virus fault, is this a simple case of someone just sending me the dll file to fix?

Thanks

My norton deletes it every once in a while as well. I keep the downloaded wormkit.rar file so I can easily extract the files when I need them again.

Hey Tom, hey Bart.

As long as you guys are downloading WormKit from CyberShadow's website, this is just a false positive. I haven't had trouble since I switched to Microsoft Security Essentials, which has been pretty flawless so far, especially considering it's free if you have a legit copy of Windows.
