Wormnet doesn't work.
« on: October 28, 2013, 08:13 PM »
My Womrnet doesn't work! The animation of Wormnet's logo is infinite, not have connection. When I connect manually, a message appears saying that the connection is impossible. My WA version is 3.7.2.1. Both my firewall and my antivirus is allowed to WA. Someone, help me please!  :(

I'm not sure if that's very likely to be your problem, but make use that the Yontoo malware isn't installed on your computer. I got it installed together with a Firefox module before and I've been unable to use WormNAT2 and then later on to join WormNET with W:A (snoopers would still work though) while I had it.

I'm not sure which error your game got (maybe post a screenshot or an error message), but to play online without extra programs/modules:

Allow all traffic on port 17011

 Checking your connectivity

When setting up hosting, you don't need to ask someone to try joining your game to see if it worked - you can check yourself. To do this:

  •     Host the game as usual (you don't need to host it on WormNET, a Direct IP game will work too)
Minimize W:A (by clicking on the bottom of the screen, or pressing Shift+Esc)
        Open http://canyouseeme.org/
Enter 17011 as the port (unless you changed it)
        Click Check

The website will tell you whether your computer is connectable on the port you specified. Remember that this will only work while you're actually hosting a game!

And you have to doubleclick at some Wormnet Parts in the Original WA.exe to load the server list/wormnet. If your whole game doesn't work you should update it to the last patches and delete old Modules manually from your main USERS folder of WA.

Here you can get the latest update ([ WA_Update-3.7.2.1 ]) right now: http://wormsarmageddon.team17.com/main.html?page=supp&area=upda

Or try the WA Websnoop: http://snoop.worms2d.info/

Good Luck!

Why are you typing with an alternate text?

I had this problem before and couldn't connect via the game. Interestingly by using Prosnooper I got around it.
Due to massive misunderstandings: MonkeyIsland refers to an island not a monkey. I would be a monkey, if my name was IslandMonkey meaning a monkey who is or lives on an island. MonkeyIsland is an island which is related to monkeys. Also there's been a legend around saying MonkeyIsland is a game. So please, think of me as an island or a game.

On his pc the wormneat appears to be always down, and when he tries to join a host using any kind of snooper the ERRORLOG.TXT pops up, thats all.
I told him to clean wa registries but he decided to formatt the whole system, let's see if this can fix, otherwise I let you all know, thx.

Dec 30 2013 23:59:44 <StepS> windowed mode isn't the only thing you need about frontend
Dec 30 2013 23:59:49 <StepS> you need it to be actually bigger
Dec 31 2013 00:00:13 <StepS> it actually is very small on my 15-inch full HD screen
Dec 31 2013 00:00:25 <StepS> while running at 640x480 or stretched mode makes it fuzzy
Dec 31 2013 00:00:44 <StepS> this problem has been around since the Worms Armageddon's release and no one has even tried to beat it

I'll try this! Is what may be the only solution to the case.

I had this malware here! I removed it completely, but WormNet not returned. :/

Thank You 2!

Well, on the other hand, my harddrive died right afterwards, so I don't know whether that malware's removal was useful.
