I think it`s wrong using warmers as reference to being a good roper though. Roper the scheme has one main goal: kill your opponent. I`d say best free style roper then

I see where you are coming from, but to me, people who roped in warmers were and always will be better than anyone in a normal roper, no matter how good they were in a Proper lol, for me, back then, roping was what you could do with the rope, how fast you could go, what tricks you could do all at the same time being as smooth as possible, to me ropers like volcom were like robots, they just done the same pattern every time and was nothing special to me and was boring, of course, he is imo one of the best 2 ropers in Propers, but he wasn't impressive at all in warmers imo.

Well he didn`t have to be impressive in Warmers, cause it is a completely different scheme ;P Volcom was a good Roper, thefudo & co were good warmers but in the end they would lose in a more serious competitive game against good ropers such as Volcom, Franz etc. So I don`t agree when you say people who roped good in warmers will always be better then people who rope good in Propers. Pumping, tricking and kicking around is cool for sure, but without any value in the competitive game play, it is only damn fun if you`re good at it.

Well, I've been clanning with a lot of "very good roper" while I was in TdC and susuii.
Volrin,volcom... They are all really good. You can add Lyte imo also. At one time he was really great.
But if you ask me. I'd say shimon. Not a lot of person know him because he wasn't playing that much single and not posting in forum. But still he was able to beat me doing w6w in roper while I was just w2w and at this time I wasn't roping as bad as today. He was pretty fast, pretty constant... Well really something. I played a lot of clanner with him and volrin and I'd say in 2vs2 shimon was better roper.

In the end, its hard to compare ropers from different epoches. Thats like comparing Federer with Agassi or Sampras etc. A lot of great ropers didnt play vs each other, that makes it even harder.

I also agree to Crazy. Random00 is one of the best Allrounders at all time. Nah, I would even say: He is the best.

In fact, we were more a training clan than a challenge one (even if we pwned some asses in leagues). :p

I'd like to add Krutgumman, I used to admire his RR-ing back in the day, he was really good.

WOah moose! wheres that dude, Propers and warmers are way dif. shit but as komo says if ur rly good at reflects and control timing on a warmer ull surely pwn a safe roping game without fancy tricks, or even sd w2w scrolling age where u need to be fast wich warming allows u to learn how to scroll around the two walls very fast atleast thats how i've learned it.
