Suggestions for improvements so far

So this site has been live for about a week and a half, even though the forum is the only main function so far, any improvements that can be made?

Here's my short shortlist

> Raise the header - it is a bit, BIG
> Favourite Icon? (favicon.ico) - helps with my bookmarks
> Login/Register buttons to work? Maybe members up there at one point

There's one other suggestion I would say to MonkeyIsland, but a) it is not important at this time and b)I am sure it will happen in due course  He probably knows as well, but hey I cant read minds

I don't get what's the matter with the header 
Maybe if you could post a screenshot and show what you mean...

I have no problem with the header, I like it. But I don't see a point having eye candy that is obstructing the view of the site. In this case, on the Dell desktop, it is about 1/3 of the top of the page. The acer laptop, it is half. I don't particularly want to keep scrolling just to view something which is just there for the eye candy.

Nudge me if you still dont get me and Ill upload screenshots

well, it fills 1/3 of the screen here also, but i dont think it takes the sight of the actual site... its just some background stuff and it fits quite good with that size. imagine standing at the beach looking straight towards the water and the sky will fill half of ur sight so why bother about 1/3 of ur sight?

1.You're the first one who's claiming the height of the header (Clouds part) is bothering him.
If people agree with you, I'll give people an height option in their profile, So that can set the size they like. If so, I'll have to give them the option to set the number of clouds they want up there too.

2. Sure the site will have favorite icon. But I think a little later. There are A LOT to do!
3. I have solved the login/register links. You won't sense it, until I upload the "Clans & Communities".
And members link will go up there.

No its ok for me I think root said that it was too big, well its not the most important thing about this site imo

If it was shortened by 100 - 140 pixels then it would still be effective, and not as intrusive.

you should probably worry about how pretty the site looks after u get it running, i think the league and tourney section should be at the top of your list, it is the whole reason this site is here, just my thoughts tho

Ye, height of the "clouds part" looks big comparing with this logo of "The Ultimate Site" that is now on. And this logo is small and not very nicely done imo.. U can't even see the whole letters cause it's "buried" like 1/10 under the "ground"... I think this logo deserves new font and new style, in other words - new logo. Imo it should "fly" in the air, and not to lie on the ground (like it is now), and then this header would not appear so empty and huge... I've spoke to MonkeyIsland about this over msn, but I would like to hear some more opinions.. (help me to convince him to do that! )
