Title: Ideas for version 3.9 and/or 4.0 update/patch.

Since works for 3.9 are already in progress I decide to make some Ideas for the update:

A lot of people plays Project X but this mod doesn't work with 3.8.
My crazy idea is to make Project X working on future WA versions or make it a new feature as Update X (I know, it sounds weird).

But the problems are the Gravity Gun and the Portal Gun, knowing that the Gravity Gun and the Portal Gun belongs to Valve I create a re-brand to this two particular weapons/tools: "Gravity Grapple" and "Hole Maker".
The design of both the weapons/tools will be like the sci-fi/space styled weapon seen on this cutscene from Worms 2:


An another idea (if the previous one is not possible) are 2 new Extended Scheme Option: "Random Inventory" and "Explosion in Water".

Random Inventory:

-Each turn the player gets randomly 2 objects in the inventory (weapons or tools).

-If you kill a enemy you'll get more objects on your inventory.

-When your turn ends the inventory will be empty (and all the weapons and tools you gained will be lost).

-The Kamikaze is the only weapon that will never be removed from your inventory (even if your turn ends).


Explosion in Water

-The Worms and/or the weapons will explode if they fall in the water instead to drowning.

Here are my ideas for future potential WA updates

1. Scheme Randomizer. Click a button, & game makes a scheme.
2. Wind changes during turn.
3. Reverse Water Rise.
4. Water Ceiling & Water Walls.
5. Destructible Borders on & off.
6. Rising Border Floor.
7. Falling Ceiling
8. Clashing Border Walls.
9. No water, at all. Long fall = Death.
10. Controllable Mole with arrow keys.
11. Homing Banana. Select multiple targets, and fire.
12. Teleport Worm. Play with 1 worm, add more later. Limited to player team.
13. Option to have fast walk on by default.
14. Option to have scope for every weapon (Someone else's idea).
15. Adjust preferred values on weapons such as: dmg, delay, etc.
16. Freeze Island. Everything gets indestructible for al teams.
17. Glue. Worms get glued to walls, slopes and ceiling. Can still move.
18. Controllable Kamikaze
19. Random Team Pick. Game picks by pure chance who is next.
20. Defect. During game, a team can choose to merge with existing one.
21. Sudden Death gives health points instead of health loss.
22. Sudden Death unlocks Full Wormage
23. Sudden Death restores all worms health.
24. Sudden Death have Armageddon on per turn. Speed can be adjusted in options.
25. Armageddon speed adjuster.
26. Nuclear Test rise adjuster.
27. Worm gives health pack or weapon crate when they die.
28. Regen Skunk. Gives worms gradually health pack.

Right now on my WA (witch is 3.8.1, steam edition) I'm testing the Full Wormage, RubberWorm and No Gravity schemes with the Extended Scheme Options.

A couple of simple changes to fuse times I think would enhance gameplay:

- Option to set the fuse time on dropped mines (0-3 seconds).

- Option to extend the fuse time for grenade, cluster bomb, banana bomb.  Perhaps up to 10 seconds?

for next update: wormpot, vehicles, exit at racing schemes like in Worms Reloaded tournaments, sentry gun & magnets, online players can hear unique worm sounds and victory music, (Gta san andreas anthem, terminator worms voice sound etc)

can be solved? when will the next update be ready?

Being able to customize Team weapons options (which weapons are considered team/special weapons along with their ammo, power and delay).
A setting like "using weapon A disables weapons B-D", for extra strategical inventory management.

Well, TestStuff is now obsolete. It is only useful to play with people who didn't update the scheme to 3.8 or just to save time when you don't want to edit extended scheme options. You can set individually all the features of teststuff using extended scheme options. So you can play the game using all test stuff options you want or remove the ones you don't want and much more without needing to type commands in the lobby. When you type "/ts" the game will be played as version 3.7 and not 3.8, so all extended options will disappear in the game if you type "/ts".

the ability to remove/kick out unwanted players in-game while hosting with Hostingbuddy would not be a bad idea ::) if the !kick command would work in-game.

I tried to make a copy of a old WA with Project X but it didn't work (I even trying some tutorial but it was no use...), I hope someone makes Project X for 3.8 and newer, or better making Project X an actual update for WA.

I found it, but it was made for 3.8, so in 3.8.1 is not guaranteed that it'll work, also if you read what the uploader said, there is some "burocracy" to do in order to it work. So, the release is not very official, might have some bugs too. If you try it, it would be good to know your experience with it. wow! So excited! what would you say, how far are you away from release?

also cool of you for doing it on github, i think one of the main problems of project x was that it was closed source and the developer entuser lost the source code on his/her hard drives, so it can't be accessed anymore for modification.

edit:

i just tested wkJellyWorm on a wine emulated worms armageddon, and it works smooth as silk from what i can tell :)

Would help a lot for SupermarketShopper and other schemes when you have a lot of weapons and don't have enough time to open it with right click + attack. It would be better to see the text after collecting crates longer and don't overwrite the texts too fast. In WxW and other faster games you can't read what was in crate when there comes another text too fast / when the text removes too early.

There should be togglable rules added for shopper schemes, Like KTL, CBA and more. Those can be located in Game/Extended Options.

Advanced, but also complicated and not possible ideas

1. Toggle on and off menu sounds.
2. Upload custom Worms Armageddon Themes.
3. Customizable in game backgrounds, terrains & skies.
4. Moving Fog/clouds that covers worms.
5. Auto Scatter Worms after each turn.
6. Adjust animation size of bullets.
7. Ridiculous damage size.
8. Inverted Arrows
9. Hide in game UI, & option to hide select UI elements.
10 Ultrawide Support.
11. Controller support.
12. Damaged area regenerates after turn, or x number of turns.
13. Build something with girder, and  move and place.
14. Girders can be placed anywhere, even in water.
15. Girders are can toggled to be fatter, & wider.
16. Placing girder on worm, makes worm immobilized.
17. Animals walk on water.
18. Worms can walk on water.
19. Water Rise CAN drown worms on water.
20 .Worms lose X amount of health on water.
21. Health pack can regenerate worm health per turn.
22. Pigeon works under water.
23. Dropping something in water, falls down above.
24. Earthquake only affect enemy team.
25. Scale of Injustice, removes 50% health of opposing team to your own.
26. Touching enemy worm, transmits poison to your worm.
27. Poisoned worm, can infect anyone it touches.
28. Tab, can also toggle weapons.
29. Selecting weapons with shortcut keys, shows thumbnail on middle of screen.
30. Animals passes through allies.
31. Animal retreat, cancel animal attack.

I finally manage to get the hands on ProjectX with a old copy of WA. I started to rip the sprites of the "Fan" Weapon.

There's the sprites* and a video about the fan (2:21) and other utilities and weapons of Project X.


*I hope someone will make a Wormkit of it like the wkJellyWorm module.

I would like the option to fast foward turn time while, for example, "skip go" is selected. I like to play intermediate, where sometimes it's necessary wait SD and it's incredible boring wait 45 secs every turn.

1. Summon Sudden Death with a tool.
2. Cancel Sudden Death with a tool.
3. Temporary Sudden Death X amount of minutes.
4. Firing something out of bounds comes from behind.
5. Clone your worm, clone worm acquires 50% of your worm.
6. Possess enemy worm for a X amount of seconds.
7. Immediately after firing a weapon (retreat or not), other player can move their worm.
8. Fire any weapons from a bazooka launcher, e.g: Donkey, HHG.
9. Multishot is limited by amount of values placed in options.
10. Upload own terrain, objects, backgrounds, and modify it in the level editor.
11. Collect mines & barrels with worms.
12. Worms have hats.
13. Draw land directly in game with a tool.
14. Air weapons can be summoned from the sides of the map.
15. Armageddon can be summoned from below.
16. Opt out to save replays, cancelling save replays if user joins other player.
17. Save replays off by default.
18. Bubbles, worm gets stuck in bubbles.
19. Bubbles can behave like a force field.
20. Bubble Gun.

Outta everything that Kradie has just said, I'd agree with something like worms (in-game worms) having skins/different skins, which players could acquire different ways : ]

Ideas:
1) Option to fast foward turn time while, for example, "skip go" is selected. It can be useful when it's necessary wait SD. It will make less tedious wait full turn time.
2) option to change resolution during a game. I play 1920x10180, but 640x480 can be very useful to see pixels, terrain etc.
3) possibility to use a replay file to play again a game from a specific time.

-The return of the Homing Strike from Worms 2
-Pressing Enter will launch/explode all super sheep should you drop multiple of them
-The Wormpot from World Party
-Mission Editor where you can create new missions for your team or edit existing ones
-Integration of Sound Bank Editor
-Integration of SuperFrontendHD (with widescreen intro fixed)
-Scan for updates, automatically downloaded through the game from the Worms Knowledge Base
-Compatibility with Macintosh and Linux

Note: SuperFrontendHD messes up the game intro by bunching up the sprites. I would really appreciate it if the next update fixes that.

I know some pro players who play at lower resolutions in order to see better pixel details. However, the downside of playing at low resolution is that you see less of the map. My suggestion would just be to be able to change the game's resolution during the match, as many games allow. Thus, during the game, the player could change to 800x600 in a specific situation and then go back to 1920x1080.

The whole chat part of WA needs to be completely rewritten in order to allow selecting of text. Currently as soon as words are displayed in chat they are converted to an image. This re-writing is planned, along with Unicode / foreign language support, which will be huge but is lower priority. This might make possible a wormkit Translator module, clickable links, etc

Other fun fact is that the chat module is the only thing preventing zooming in/out to be added with a module like wkResolution. StepS made wkReso for W2 and WWP only because they are dead online and nobody needs/uses the chat anymore.

The extended option also affects cow herd size.  It would be good to have these as separate options.

Other ideas/thoughts:

When players quit or drop from an online game, an option to have their worms disappear (teleport?) off the map.

Should the default flamelet count be a bit higher?  By default, a napalm strike extinguishes petrol bombs. This can be set in the extended options but most schemes ignore it.

Native support for custom terrains with online/hosting ability and support for an alternate 'Water.dir' file for custom terrain water colour.  wkTerrainSync is awesome, but not many have it installed so maps need converting to PNG online.  An improved 'Level.dir' management tool would be great to replace Sprite Editor which is quite buggy. 

32-bit colour support.  I think this would be a great update for the game but not essential.  I don't think Project X style updates with new weapons and mechanics would (or even should) ever be approved for the core game.

I want to see improved In-game Terrain editor within bigger size (with wkSuperFrontend Support) and easier to use. Also Implement wkTerrainSync into built-in for next update. Oh, and also, Tablet/Drawing Tablet Support for this too.
Like in later games, Placing Worms and Objects would be neat. and also, Maybe also in-game mission editor would be nice.

I'm not sure if anyone requested this, but it would be convenient to have these features implemented:

1. An ability to resume game from the moment it disconnected (especially matters with stockpiling schemes and longer matches).

2. An ability to determine which player / team will start the match.

3. An ability to modify ALL utilities settings (mainly probabilities) and super weapons (also mainly probabilities).

4. Possibility to modify crate-count of each weapon (for example setting Mad Cow or Girder to appear 1x per crate).

5. Implementing remaining wormpot modes that had never been implemented in WA (for example and mainly Specialist Worm Mode).

Of course he cares and reads suggestions, but you have to remember that he's seen thousands of suggestions and also already has a massive backlog of more core and important work to do on W:A. Real Time Rope Race would be a good feature. People say "It would be difficult to handle this due to connectivity issues" but let me notice that a lot of games support real time features and the same principle could work even for WA (if it could not, just explain why). Bests.

I think people are talking about latency issues, Runaway. Real time feature would be awesome. But how would you, from Italy, play rope race against Stoner from Uruguay - for example?

If server is from UK, people from South America would have approx 250 ping. While you'd be smooth roping with <50ms.

W:A definitely needs changes to its primitive CPU AI in the next update. Currently, CPU worms cannot backflip (Backspace twice) and is unable to use a massive amount of weapons. I know this may negatively affect single-player missions, but it's easy to remove weapons from CPUs in certain missions (1, 3, 5, 6, 10, 13, 16, 18, 19, 20, 26, 27) that they weren't able to use before - as long as they were weapons the CPU worms weren't able to use in previous versions of W:A. Not sure about CPU worms in missions becoming able to backflip though - impacting most of the difficulty in the single-player campaign, but it's not much of an impact compared to CPU worms actually using homing weapons in missions, especially mission 13, where the single ammo of Patsy's Magic Bullet they have can actually be used.

List of CPU weapon usage logics to possibly implement that are derivative:
Battle Axe (Fire Punch)
Prod (Fire Punch)

As a P.S., the CPU can actually use the Cluster Bomb, Banana Bomb, Holy Hand Grenade, Minigun, Petrol Bomb, and Napalm Strike, but they are grossly outprioritised compared to their more common ilk. The CPU would rather use regular Grenades over most other grenade-like weapons so it's very shocking when a CPU actually pulls out a Petrol Bomb to kill a worm. Even then, the CPU does not know how to gauge player worm energy thus their poor use of highly-damaging weapons such as the Banana Bomb and Minigun. CPUs would rather use Grenades to kill worms over a couple turns rather than the Banana Bomb which can easily kill a worm from 100 health, and the Minigun is almost never used to kill worms despite its massive damage output compared to the Shotgun/Uzi and ends up wasted for boring holes into terrain. CPUs commonly use Air Strikes but will never use Napalm Strikes unless pigs fly or something. The rarity of the Napalm Strike is so low that CPUs, in certain tight situations, prefer trying to use Grenades, Shotguns, or Bazookas to try to get towards targets but realise they run the risk of backfire from self-damage and skip their turn, instead of just using another Air Strike-like weapon (even then, they don't account for the wind when they ACTAULLY use the Napalm Strike).

P.S.S.: yes, the CPUs commonly use Dynamite, which is actually good for them, but don't use jumps during retreat turns and end up getting damaging from its large blasts. Oops.

Today there is a wide variety of terrains for the module, and this is wonderful. I think it will diversify the gameplay.

Deadcode did confirm that custom terrain support was being worked on.  I don't think the module would ever be embedded as-is, understandably.  But it would be fantastic if the features below could be implemented in an official update:

- Custom terrain support for hosted games (all players download the hosted terrain if they don't have it)

- Custom water colour.  Currently this is implemented by replacing "water.dir" which contains all water gfx and sprites for objects that fall into the water.  An easy-to-use GUI application exists to create the new water.dir files, but essentially only palette information would be needed for the implementation.

- Dual-layer parallax background support.  This is currently implemented by loading a "_back.spr" file which replaces the existing background, and a "back2.spr" file which adds a new layer that sits behind that with parallax motion.  Much larger backgrounds are also allowed which is great.

I don't know if there was such a suggestion, but it would be nice to be able to kick players from the game room between rounds - This feature would be very useful for those who play schemes with stockpiling weapons, since in this case there is no way to simply do rehost to get rid of the player who doesn't click on the lamp.

I don't know how difficult it will be to do, and if it's realistic to do.

We need some kind of fight against fake players who use other people's nicknames. Log in to the server using a tus account or registration on some specific official resource (worms2d for example), and use the login password to enter the server. This will solve the problem of fakes that spoil the reputation of the players.

That's why I called it a difficult function, but it is vital because the world, unfortunately, has dirty, inadequate players who abuse other people's nicknames.

Add a scheme option that when you are walking on the edge of a cliff, the worm instantly stops when it reaches the very limit of the land. To fall from the cliff, you would need to press the arrow again to confirm you really want to fall.

This will avoid simple mistakes such as falling, ergo it will save turn time of players, since they will not need to spend several seconds, walking subpixel per subpixel many times to ensure they reached the limit without falling (for precise jumps, overhang shotgun trick, cow against wall, etc). This would also avoid ruining the whole strategy, the whole fun while spectating a competitive play. Yes, because even pro players fall without intention and this is not good to watch on a stream. It might be funny, but in terms of pro play, this is not cool.

It would also help newbies, since they would fall less times and the learning curve would be smaller.

remember how in the first Hitman games everything used to be more difficult. now since the latest newer Hitmans came out everything gets simpler by adding skills like you press one button on the keyboard and you see through every wall around in 100 yards, giving the locations of enemies around you. games shouldn't be dumbified like this, it drops quality. this has been like this eversince 2012-2022 gamers wants to have an easier time completing things. in the older Hitman games I used to like it very much that you discover everything yourself

Well, if you're talking about Splinter Cell, I'll talk about Metal Gear Solid. The game is not easy for newbies, so there's the EZ 🔫 (when you play in very easy) to help people learn about the game, without dying and failing all the time (80% of camouflage, stamina regeneration, not noisy, tranquilizer, lazer aim, etc). I'd like to see more newbie-friendly gameplay schemes in WA and I would like to see less stupid mistakes in a game that what matters is the strategy.

All we need is a fixing bug  of rope angle which  is in fact very annoying and costed me a lot  o loosing games.   
When u rope "too fast" sometimes rope angle stays in vertical (starting) position, even that ur worm is much farer than central position.  So in normal speed, the rope attach to left/right side, but in faster moves it just goes vertical and make u fall. 

I was already writing about this bug many times, cant believe this was not fixed in so many updates before..
Looks like water colour, snoop things and other useless stuff are more important for programmes, or lets say it is just easier for them

is it a bug? Rope angle is based on the angle you had when you release. Personally when I rope fast, indeed I tend to release at the center point more often.

4. Option to actually pause the game before our turn begins once per match for maximum 3 minutes? The game is turn-based so maybe it would be nice if we could open the door, pick up the phonecall, use the toilet just one time per match?

Using toilet one time per match is a prostate issue, can't be addressed by v3.9/4.0/ .. /7.98.

Pause could be cancer to this game.  Imagine  some toxic ppl making pause every game, need or no..  Toilet?  I think u can  survive 20 minutes without it.
Changing resolution during game would be nice, but not really necessary since most ppl play on PC monitors, not on 100* tv like u zalo . 
I think we dont need any phisical changes here (maybe instead of one I mentioned with rope angle bug),  the problem is with activity,  some of u may want pink colour instead of blue,  but then u will enjoy it playin with CPU offline

A pause option would be bad. People would abuse it. So I am against it.

The only way such thing could be ''tolerable'', if there were voting option.

But to Implement a poll with pretdetermined questions and answers could also be abused. Though it would be nice to be aboe to opt out of the poll scheme. Example: 6 player in a game, if player 1 has chosen to opt out of poll scheme in option menu, he won't be able to participate. Also, if more than 3 has chosen to opt out, the poll scheme cannot be established.

Ideas for soundbanks:

Game can inform by small icon next to each player if its soundbank exist or not and will be used default one instead. It maybe speaker icon with green color if soundbank exist, red icon if not (will be used default one instead), and maybe yellow if soundbank is being downloading (if game start before fished this, it use default one). When pointing on that icon by mouse, it may show soundbank name, files size, and if downloading, show its progress in %. Downloaded soundbanks may have own folder (User\DownloadedSpeech\*soundbank_name*). In game settings add option for downloading missing soundbanks from players (on/off), so when its off, it will only inform about missing soundbank, but not downloading.

Optional: Comparing soundbanks contents by file sizes for make difference if different soundbanks have same name. If same named soundbank with different files downloaded, save it with [1] prefix on end or so.

And mainly, game may look for soundbank in BOTH folders: User\Speech, and DATA\User\Speech (in this order). Oh, in User\DownloadedSpeech\ too ofc.

Not exactly for the game itself, and not sure if people already suggested this, but it would be cool to have an app that you could download on PlayStore or AppStore that could read .WAgame (replay) files on your smartphone. This way you wouldn't need to have a computer with WA installed to watch the replay. Also, you wouldn't need to make videos or gifs to be able to reproduce what happened on your smartphone. I would install this app for sure. Maybe the name could be "WA Replay Spectator", "WA Replay Executer", "WA Replay Runner", "WA Replay Watcher", or something.

Replays need all the game's features in order to work. Remember, a replay is just made of map, settings/teams and keyboard presses/holds. By making such a player, you better leave the whole game playable!

Still...I discovered on the directory of WA some unused sprites/weapons that where used on Worms 2:
-Homing Cluster Bomb
-Homing Air Strike
-Cloned Sheep
-Gas Canister

That will be nice if someone manage to bring back those weapons!

Project X: Weapons from Project X are integrated into the main WA arsenal. No PX addon required
Oh, don't forget the rain mod from Project X witch it will make the terrain slippery and the custom barrels from PX as well.
I've also exported some sprites from Project X weapons as well.

Being able to modify quantity of stuff in crates(1 ninja rope or 1 cow for example) and being able to set % to utilities was probably already mentioned.

I would like to have:
- choosing fuse for mine that worm places, just like you set fuse for grenades
- for enviromental mines, being able to set fractions of second( I want to be able to have half a second mines)
- two types of ninja ropes that you set separetely. so for a round you could have 1 good rope and 4 poor ones
- being able to modify team weapons
- setting some stuff to be available first turn only
- hovering over weapons in inventory shows it's power level

Weapon shot is automatically released at end of turn on rope or land.
Display a ''user is connecting to host lobby in the host's lobby''.
Kicking a user 3 times in a row results in a 5 minute ban.
Option to choose what a died worm leaves behind: Crate, Health Crate, Utility, Sheep, or Petrol Fire.
Multishot is not Infinite, option to choose how many attacks a worm can perform.
Bounce is not infinite, option to choose how many bounce a worm can bounce.
Worms keep bouncing after retreat.
Worms Strike: A barrage of worms drops from above in parachute with X amount of health. These worms are allies of the trigger team. The drop behaves somewhat Identical to MB bomb.
When user drops, player can easily rejoin from channel (Only this person who dropped can see game).
When dropped from bungee, player can fire rope.
Modify the value of how high a worm can jump with fire punch.
Modify the value of how far the energy ball released from dragon ball.

- expand the list of flags, fanfares, speechs, graves that open in the game. make their number more, which will show the game

One BIG idea which have old games too:
Independent volume for music and effects.
And could be good to can change it from lobby too (maybe by some keys). Sometime I set low volume in game, and between rounds in lobby I have no possibility to change it. Then when someone will want own in-game music, only set music volume to zero and play own music by mediaplayer or winamp on background. Sound effects will be untouched, it will have own volume bar.

Hot seat time, but for the very first moment when the game starts only and to all players: "map awareness starting round time".

For example, you can set only five seconds of standard hot-seat time, but 30 seconds for the very first moment when the game starts to all players. All players must wait those 30 seconds before the first player starts playing with it's hot-seat time.

Hot seat time, I believe, has its name because when you are playing offline with friends, you need to leave the chair that is hot to your friend sit and play. So for this feature hot-seat time is not the ideal name. I think "map awareness round starting time" would be a good name for this.

Why such a feature would be good? Because there are many games that in the first turn, players make stupid decisions because they are not aware of all the positions, the order of the worms, the possibilities of plays and start playing with little time to think. This is not good for strategy and high level of gameplay. Also, if there's a player with slower internet or connection that arrives in the game later and starts playing Elite which has zero seconds of hot-seat time, this player has little time to think while the other players already thought on a lot of possibilities while the player was still loading the game to join it.

I know, who starts usually has an advantage most of the times, so this situation can counter the advantage of the one who starts, but I still think a scheme option of this idea would be great. This way, all players would be able to equally have some good time to look around the map, analyze all the situation and possibilities before starting to play. If the scheme doesn't need this, you can simply start with zero seconds of "map awareness round starting time".

EDIT: this feature would be great for races with big maps where usually players only have 10 seconds to find the start and often position their worms at a wrong place. It would be good for people who host new schemes, so that they can explain the rules, settings and details, the important stuff, while players can see the whole map and things they wouldn't understand so well explaining in the lobby. It would make things easier for everybody.

EDIT 2: An optional sub-feature would be that during this time, only the host would be able to control the cursor/pointer to point things on the map to explain stuff. He/she would be able to click with the cursor, but it would result in that "dud"/negative/"you can't do this" classic sound of the game.

Delay for crate spawns, or maybe a new type of sudden death option: Crate spawnings. I think this could be really interesting to a scheme. Early game without crates and only on late game you can find other weapons. This would be good for strategy and could help balancing some schemes. Crates can really help the game end sooner, that's why it could be good to see crates start spawning on Sudden Death, Either 1 crate per turn, or multiple crates per turn, or even Crate Shower effect.

Example: think on those schemes like Intermediate on caves or Quickdraw when both players are out of ammo for long range weapons, those games that players only darkside and wait for sudden death. Crates could really benefit to the game end sooner and to break those several turns shooting with shotgun on the terrain for nothing (skipping turn). Suddenly a scheme without crates could receive crates on Sudden Death. Suddenly a player could find an Aqua Sheep or a Homing Missile in a crate, to help finishing the enemy. Also with many crates on the map, more explosions can occur.

Scheme designers could set only weapons for sudden death to spawn in crates if this feature is on.

EDIT: Or maybe if a scheme already has crates since the beginning, the number of crates that would spawn after sudden death would increase, it would have the double of the number of crate spawns. It would be really fun to see a sudden death like this, much more interesting than earthquake every turn or mini armageddons every turn. It would be also easier to implement, I believe.

New utility: this utility will increase 1 level(power) of 1 random weapon listed in the user inventory the whole round (superweapons and no level weapons aren´t included).

I would like to add that it would be nice to be able to remove chat logs from replays. Most people who play this game have known each other for a long time and sometimes we can discuss private things while playing WA, so the ability to clear the chat log would be nice.

Isn't this the same as the sanitize replay feature we already have? Or is it a different suggestion?

No, I think that only removes private/team messages. I mean something for ALL messages in the replay.

Right click on replay file and select export log? There is chat too. It is saved in same folder where is replay file.

Just gave that tool a shot. Seems like it doesn't work for 3.8.1

Figured maybe it's because it's not compatible with newer WA versions, and I was right; it worked without any issues on a 2009 replay (3.6.29.0).

Good to see that it's possible though.

1. Option to choose how crates are spawned: long drop, Instant drop (Directly on surface).
2. When a user join a game, a bot will auto send a link in host room that contains the rules of that scheme that is hosted.
3. Host can warn user in host room that they may get kicked.
4. If a person host with the name ''TUS'', users that joins will receive message from a bot that it is competitive game.
5. Crates disappear after X amount of turns.
6. Extra high fire punch
7. Extra long dragon ball
8. Girders rotation are not constrained: Rotate Girders freely without grid..
9. Extra menu with rules. Either on main page or host room.. We wouldn't need 4th option..
10. First timer comes online gets auto message/popup with short instruction what to do and expect..
11. Sheep Miner: Each time sheep jumps it plants a mine...
12. Animals activates mines.
13. Mega Strike: Choose X amount of missiles from air strikes, napalm, mail strike, and etc.
14 Auto airstrike each turn.
15. Worms can plant barrels.
16. Big barrel. A bigger barrel on land that does extra damage.
17. Spawn barrels, just like crates
18. More aggressive bounce and spread with bananas, and clusters.

Originally I would've hoped that they'd add more soundbanks to the vanilla game (particularly the ones from Reloaded - Poor Rapper is my favourite soundbank in the series) since it's slightly deflating to know that most people don't be able to hear your custom soundbank online, though I've thought up a few possible reasons why they haven't done so already.

Aside from that, I have one minor request for the next update: give us the option to prevent health crates from curing poison while a nuclear sudden death is active. Always felt it didn't make logical sense for a worm to be completely cured whilst they're STILL breathing in poisoned air. Also, I'm not sure if this is a glitch or something intentional, but when I collected a health crate during one of these sudden deaths, it cured not just the worm I was using but my entire team which I felt was very strange.

If they don't feel like changing the code for health crates, you could also make it so that poison is applied to all worms after every turn during nuclear sudden death which would account for this (in a sense the worm is cured only for that turn but I'd let it slide).

My ideas for 3.9, as they are working on it more now. Then the Team17 test and only the release.

Control settings in the game
Worms and animations in HD quality, Deadcode personally showed and it's just awesome.
The aspect ratio, the resolution of the main menu to meet modern standards, and not 640 by 480, so that both screensavers and elements are error-free
Gamepad support, whether I need it or not, I don't know. As an addition it would be fine
Speech Banks algorithms, as not all audio files are played because they are disabled.
For advanced game settings, either add something new or not
For a weapon editor like Project X, I would like to, but it's not really
More types of jumps, tricks
Do you need something for additional settings and menus, rendering and games? I personally don't know.
Faster loading of the game, or remove the nuclear icon altogether.
Be able to add your own levels without the wkTerrainSync module.
For colored levels, add a new background to the Custom folder. Change outdated formats to modern ones.
Remember, it was possible to change the color of the water in the Worms 2 menu, why not add this to Worms Armageddon. To avoid downloading the utility every time

It's not a fact that half and a bunch of other wishes will be for 3.9, maybe something for 3.9, then there may not be such a thing as 4.0, to the version that Team17 wanted to bring. Integration of Worms Armageddon+ Worms World Party here I did not understand why it was at all.

1. Set sudden death weapons: Specific weapons selected in option will unlock during sudde ndeath.

2. Set retreat time for each individual weapons.

3. Each time you fire a weapon, X amount of time is added to turn time.

4. Adjust Individual Worm Health.

5. Jumping gives you X amount of extra seconds.

6. The amount of damaged done to enemy is absorbed to your health.

7. Each turn, a weapon is randomly unlocked for one turn only.

8. The game starts with sudden death, but stops when round time is over.

9. Auto Switch: After firing a weapon, you will Immediately take control over your next worm.

10. When sudden death is turned on, all worms receive X amount of health.

11. Wormkit module page in option - Cross wkmodules you want to be active in game.

12. Ability to set amount of ammo in each crate. Choose the amount of ammo from 1 to infinite e.g: 5 Bazookas in a crate.

13. Disable wormkit module in host room.

14. Display what wormkit module user have loaded when they join a host lobby.

15. Competitive Mode Setting - Make all modified files in WA unusable.

16. Anti-Collision Mode - Similar to Antisink, a fail instantaneously teleports you back.

17. Show a tiny number in green next to host's name. The number represent the number of players inside the host's room.

18. Auto kick player if a player has joined more than 3 times.

19. Leaving your own host room, makes the player that joined first the new host.

20. Set X amount of teams permitted to add by others in host lobby.

21. When you join host room, you can click on map and view only in editor.

22. Make polls in host room.

I have a good suggestion, in many games in clanners or tus have a good advantage of victory but it happens that the opponent drop internet repeatedly with this there could be an option within the host to be able to modify and put the same life and the same map and the same amount of worms in the same positions the way it was when the opponent fell in map, that would be more than fair.

There is already the suggestion to continue the game from the state it was in when someone dropped.

Arithmetic progression Sudden Death. Water rises progressively, each turn the flood is stronger.

Or maybe each turn the flood is weaker. That would be cool, but harder to predict the flood.

Just got this idea watching the latest CWT stream: 
Built in voice chat, audio automatically saved in replays.  Players muted by default.  With an option to record or not record audio, and whether to listen to audio.  With some kind of visual indicator of who is talking/muted/listening/recording.

Audio file sizes are tiny and storage is cheap and plentiful.  Would be nice for spectator commentaries and overall archival of funny/memorable moments.

It would also encourage more impromptu team games between strangers with deeper teamwork and strategizing.

Just an idea - not saying it's my #1 suggestion or even that I'd necessarily use it much myself.  Thoughts?
