stepsfiles.tk R.I.P.
« on: January 26, 2012, 03:32 PM »
Ok. Now I cannot just talk about it. Today my domain stepsfiles.tk has been canceled without any reason and restore possibility.
I'm so damn sad about the recent news regarding Internet. Where are we going?
The most likely cause of the shutdown is the Dot TK's service. I've read lots of user reviews, and from what I see, they can delete the domain if it gets too much traffic (like more than 500 users a day), without any notification, etc. This shows that there is no reason for me to stay on their crappy service anymore. I hope, however, that I will at least manage to restore it to get the links working, or that it could have a redirect.
Right now all the links leading to stepsfiles.tk are not working. Replace the beginning by myfiles.my1.ru instead.

Dec 30 2013 23:59:44 <StepS> windowed mode isn't the only thing you need about frontend
Dec 30 2013 23:59:49 <StepS> you need it to be actually bigger
Dec 31 2013 00:00:13 <StepS> it actually is very small on my 15-inch full HD screen
Dec 31 2013 00:00:25 <StepS> while running at 640x480 or stretched mode makes it fuzzy
Dec 31 2013 00:00:44 <StepS> this problem has been around since the Worms Armageddon's release and no one has even tried to beat it

SOPA and PIPA have not been passed.  I wonder if it has something to do with the megaupload controversy? either way, they need to leave our f@#!ing internet alone!

It's all fine as long as they don't touch the porn sites.
I remember knowing who it was but dont remember exactly what I knew

yes, I know. That's why I said "hi to SOPA" and not "hi from SOPA".

maybe that's because I recently put the excentric 404 and 403 pages :-[
But I think that nothing will really change. I'm deciding to switch to stepsfiles.com.
Also, I think that I will need a new hosting as well, since I can't change the attached domain here (I have an unsolvable problem).
The worst thing is of course the links. There are pretty much links with this domain, as of WA, as not of it. So replace the beginning with myfiles.my1.ru.
