Then again the two noob bashing extraordinaries are singlehandedly driving league activity with huge amounts of games played against people we’ve never heard of before or will see again.

Yet they don’t play each other, it’s hilarious.

So my advice is to continue on bashing!  More points for the pr0s.

The Warlus, I don't play against him because he has a policy of playing fews games against the same player during a season. He usually plays a game, and if he wins, he grants the person the chance to play a revenge (which usually takes long time to happen). I do not agree to play with someone who is so inaccessible, because I am not! I already said that long time ago in his ONL profile and many others players also know about his game policy.

My comment in his ONL profile: "High level player. But unfortunately, for me, it is very difficult to have the opportunity to play against him, as he has some rules in the amount of games per season etc." (http://www.normalnonoobs.com/userinfo/Rafka)
Comment of another person about him: "Its impossible to get a rematch against Rafka when You lost a first match" (http://www.normalnonoobs.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=1681)

I love to play with PRO players, like tita, Kayz etc. I'm always playing with tita. He don't report in ONL because he don't wanna to report. I played a lot with Abegood too, wich is also very good player. I play with everyone. But I like to play with people who are as accessible to me as I am to them.

I will exemplify here my history with some good players:

Silaneo - http://www.normalnonoobs.com/AvsBstatistics/Albus/Silaneo
Thouson - http://www.normalnonoobs.com/AvsBstatistics/Albus/Thouson
Ultiarsty - http://www.normalnonoobs.com/AvsBstatistics/Albus/ultiartsy
Korydex - http://www.normalnonoobs.com/AvsBstatistics/Albus/Korydex
Perdunok - http://www.normalnonoobs.com/AvsBstatistics/Albus/Perdunok

As you see, I play a lot of games against good players!

Now, if you look at Rafka's profile (http://www.normalnonoobs.com/viewuserrank/Rafka), you'll see that he plays with a lot of people, but few games in each season. If he wanted to play with me dozens of times (like he did with this new guy just to get first place), I would be the first to accept.

Very unfair call me "noob bashing". Everyone who knows me knows that I'm not like that!

Then again the two noob bashing extraordinaries are singlehandedly driving league activity with huge amounts of games played against people we’ve never heard of before or will see again.

My intention was to bring in new players to help with the league activity! I am always telling about TUS and ONL sites to new players and inviting them to join these leagues. What can I do besides that? Force them to play again? I do my part! But if I'm going to be called "noob bashing" for bringing new players into the league, I won't be doing that anymore. That's fine for me.
I always try to help new players to play better in order to make them enjoy the game more. Here are topics I created to help new players:
http://www.normalnonoobs.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1696&view=unread#unread
https://www.tus-wa.com/forums/worms-armageddon/new-player-guide-for-intermediate-scheme-32974/msg277201/#msg277201
I recently proposed on the WA server at discord, the idea of creating a separate window inside AG mentioning the league sites (TUS and ONL) and other useful stuff for new players (see the attachment). It is clear that my behavior is far from someone who just wants to play against a noob just to earn some league points and never see that player again.

Strangely enough, one of the best ways to get peoples attention is by giving them something to complain about.

If you want help with something, claim you are an expert and say something obviously wrong and people will flood in to inflate their egos, not to help you, but to prove you wrong, unknowing to them that they are actually helping you.

Rafka knowingly and willingly got a new player to register on TUS with the purpose of abusing the system, even his own 'code of revenge' which before meant he would only play 1 set of games with anybody in a season. He does not even try to hide it.

My goal is to prevent this from ever happening again, if a new player has just registered to TUS or has no previous games played against other players they should have a game cap of 3 games. I say 3 games because 2 games is standard 1 pick each and a 3rd upon agreement.

I think it's fine to play huge sets of games with players, one example are 2 top ropers like oldsock and blitzed who regularly play huge sets of games, also Xrayez and VoK are doing it a lot recently as well, but those are all highly experienced players and not trying to abuse the system, they simply want high level matches with each other and enjoy it.

In the spirit of competition and actually earning 1st place, you cannot justify proving you are the best player by manipulating a new innocent player into signing up with the express purpose of using them to fast track a favourable position in a league, it is just immoral, especially during the last day of a season.

Edit - I just want to clarify, this is nothing personal against Rafka, I never even knew who he was until a month ago when I started streaming CWT games.

What happened in the last few days show that Rafka is VERY serious about winning, and will do anything within the rules to win, he found a loophole and abused it, and although it is unfair in the sense it is bad sportsmanship and not conforming to the normal standards of competition in this game, it was 100% legal according to the rules/system in place at the time.

We have only ourselves to blame for letting this happen, we can hope to teach Rafka why it was such a bad thing, and try to better educate new players on sportsmanship in the community.

My personal thoughts is that Rafka is a great Intermediate player, one of the best it seems, so it comes as a special shock to me why a top player would even do something like this. He had 3 days to make 19 points but he lost 72 points to cgar, the game chat shows Rafka made a mistake at the end:

Quote
[NNN`Rafka] 1 stupid mistake
[cgar] WOOOOOOP!!!!
[NNN`Rafka] when I had practicly
[cgar] omg omg omg
[NNN`Rafka] win game

My instinct tells me that after Rafka lost to cgar he felt negative with himself, and realizing there were only 2 days left in the season and also being 91 points behind 1st place, he became desperate and decided his only way to win the season was to win a lot of games and make sure he didn't lose. From there he decided to convince an innocent noob to sign up to the league, someone that had no chance to beat such an experienced player and secure 14 easy victories.

How can I make such accusations? Based on the timeline of what happened and Rafka's own words and actions as shown in these conversations:

^^ This proves Rafka is well aware of the season ending and is keeping a close eye on the deadline, as well as his desire to achieve 1st place. Don't worry I did not hack them, Albus posted this image on CWT website as you can see in the following image, as well as further confirmation by Rafka himself of his desperation to beat Albus:

And to top it off, more conversations taken from the ONL website:

That last message also seems to possibly contradict his actions. He claims TUS to be a less important league with a less fair ranking system compared to ONL, yet resorts to the most desperate thing i've ever seen anyone in this League do to win it.

Either Rafka feels TUS is so important he would do anything to win.

Or Rafka feels TUS is of such little importance he doesn't care about being cheap and abusing the system to win.

Either way, it's a slap in the face to TUS, and other players who play fairly.

@Toppy

It depends on the situation I guess.

Obviously it is not my choice, although personally do not think it would be fair to ban Rafka for this, it was not cheating, and Rafka genuinely does not seem to understand why what he done is generally considered to be lacking good sportsmanship and competitive ethics, or he is hiding it very well.

Without a doubt I believe it to be abuse of the system, he found a loophole and used it to his advantage, but it was not cheating.

At this moment, I believe important people in the Intermediate community are aware of what Rafka has done, and it is also my belief he will more than likely have lost the respect of many respectable players for his actions, but we should not make this into a witchhunt or preach hate at him, he did not break any rules, and at the end of the day how we feel about it is merely a personal opinion about competitive conduct, he hasn't actually hurt anyone or done anything horrible to humanity, he is just a guy who loves a scheme SO MUCH he is willing to find any way possible to achieve his glory.

As I said before, it would be nice for Rafka to realize why this is poor sportsmanship and become a better player in future, he carries the NNN tag, he is a CWT champion, personally I think it's important for high achieving players to act with a sense of dignity and respect and create a professional environment for potential future players.

Believe me, i've done things i'm not proud of myself in the WA community and believe I have improved as a person through realizing those things.

However removing those games against ZapalioSibicom all except the 1st three would be entirely justifiable in my opinion, and awarding the season to Albus instead, at the same time adding a new player game limit to prevent this happening again.

Honestly albus I was thinking about this and I don’t think you been noob bashing really, if you want to be active in this league I guess you play noobs mostly, not much of a choice.  There used to be about 100 skilled active players at any given time during most of tus history, now there is about 5-10 so I can’t fault you for your actions, especially if rafka won’t play you.

It’s a shame that the two most active players that both specialize in the same scheme can play 100 games each but only 2 against each other.  It’s obvious rafka doesn’t want to risk losing to preserve his sterling record against noobs.

Hopefully he shows up and proves us all wrong but I’m not holding my breath.

It’s a sad day when one of the very best inter players, maybe the best active player, won’t play other good players because avoid.

It’s a sad day when one of the very best inter players, maybe the best active player, won’t play other good players because avoid.

Just for the record, in my opinion (although others think Rafka is an avoider), I don't think he is an avoider, because he, even though he only wanna play 1 Bo3 with someone for 2 months, he plays after all. He would be an avoider if he didn't want to play any, and only play when he was forced to play (for example, CWT, PO etc., because then there would be no way to avoid it).

The problem, which makes me not play with him, is his policy of few games with people. For example, he is often at the AG looking for people to play and me too. But if he has played with me recently, and beat me, he will always give preference to playing with unknown people (possibly noobs) and refuses to play with me. I do not agree with his attitude, of being such an inaccessible person, and I already said that I will only accept playing with him when he changes that, and become a more accessible person, because I am!
I consider myself just a good player. I am not an excellent player and I am not a PRO (PRO for me were Dario, Mablak and a few others), who dedicated themselves a lot to the game, for several years. I'm just an amateur. If Rafka played more against me, he would certainly win the majority, as he has more experience than me, but I don't mind losing. Below you can see the recent ONL history between me and Korydex. I lost most, but I don't mind losing. I will keep calling him to play. I like when someone is better than me, because I see it as a challenge! I like to play with PROs because I learn and also become a better player.

Rafka has another peculiarity that I don't agree. When he loses someone, I notice that he quickly calls the person to play again in order to try to win. But when he wins, he is in no hurry at all (it may take more than a month for another game to happen, even if you see him on AG looking for games). I think this is unfair. I do not like it.

I attached a print of when we played TUS. I beat him first. It didn't take long and in the next day he called me to play again. As I am a very accessible player and I almost never refuse anyone who invites me to play, I accepted! But if it had been the opposite, i.e., if I had lost first and asked him to play the other day, from my experience I say that he would not accept. This happened to me at ONL. I lost the first game to him. He just came to be available to play with me what he calls the opponent's right to play the revenge match months later (despite countless times he was looking for someone to play at the same time as me). But by that time I had already approached him in the ranking and I didn't want to play anymore. So I told him that the day he changes his posture, I'll call him to play dozens of times.

There is another example of his attitude, which happened between him and ultiarsty. He lost the first game against ultiarsty, and the very next day he called ultiarsty to play again and won. As the win rate was still not so good (3-2 for ultiarsty), few days later he played another one and got 5-2. After that, ultiarsty asked him to play and he was in no hurry, which caused some discussion between the 2 at the time.

I believe that, instead of give priority to calling so many noobs, he should give priority to play with old players, as they are more important to keep the league alive, since new players, mostly, as you said and unfortunately, never return here. But my suggestion to avoid that is to make things easier for new players. I think the new players does not have an easy place to access all information they need about the game. So I recently gave the idea in the discord (attached below) to create a small separate window in the AG (with a scroll bar so as not to take too much space in the interface), with useful information, v.g., league sites, guides and tutorials for play better, discord servers etc.
