If you played competitively long enough, you would see that Clusters are a fairly weak weapon (~70 hp) if one knows how to hide, and danie is definitely one of these players who know how to do it (just don't expose your bottom in a tunnel or plainly stand on a girder in cave. Shotgun + Green granade + Holy granade are superior in this scheme as you have no way of climbing with LG after you get hit by these three. These weapons are also what you want to have when your enemy is close to the rooftop.

All you said is well known to me, even without playing competitively :p But it doesnt change the fact, that one side had a huge advantage here and that side didnt win.

this mole shopper stuff wouldn't be so shit if it followed the same scheme strats what Team17 scheme has for TUS. limited girders, maybe 7 or 9 ammo, no superweapons, no banana, no 3x clusters. this, for a start then it wouldn't be so silly anymore. but ofc it needs even more than these to make it more enjoyable.

I would take  3x Green Granade + Shotgun over 3x Clusters anytime something that Mazi didn't have. Let alone if you add to it 1x Holy Granade + 1x Worm Select. Danie had a small advantage there. It's not that Clusters are weak weapons. They are just a weak weapon against danie. Apart from Clusters, Mazi had an absolute emptiness in his inventory for the first 30 min of the game, after which he finally found baseball bat.

If you think that somebody has "huge advantage" having nothing in the inventory but clusters, then try to use clusters to kill a worm that is each time standing in the middle a flat girder in a cave, it will always take you 3 turns to kill 1 worm placed like this
