[Deadcode] But the most annoying thing to me currently is that they delayed both v3.8 and v3.8.1 for many months each

[DrNick`zar] which is to marinade it for several months and then release 'as is'?
[Deadcode] Even though it would be a better experience for customers if they just let me release immediately. Because even if there are new bugs, which is unusual, I can just fix them right away and then release that immediately too.

[Deadcode] Whereas what is quite certain is that with each release, many bugs from before are fixed. And by delaying those, Team17 is denying those fixes to the community.
[Deadcode] And furthermore, having a rapid release cycle would let me do a better job of giving the community the features they want.
[Deadcode] So basically, I have to write an email to them, and I'm finding it very hard. I don't imagine anything I say making them change their minds.
