So, whats your opinion on what i just said Chelsea???


im curious what other people think too...


do you think for example 10 small, maybe 3-4 person clans has more potential to increase clanner activity??

or do you think less clans.. example 5 clans, with 6-10 people per clan has more potential for increased activity??

as i said above, i really think larger clans is the answer...  who really cares if your playing the same clans more frequent... at least it would most likely be different people each time... and the fact of the matter is, when your online with a clan mate of your own, your going to have increased chances to find a clan that is also online with at least 1 other clan mate.

a bunch of small clans at first thought seems like a great idea, but if anyone actually thinks about it, i think they would quickly realize it would decrease the chances of not only having a clan mate of your own online, but also finding a clan that has 2 members available when you do.


so, what is other peoples opinions?? and if you disagree with me, lets hear some reasons why..  maybe you can change my opinion.

but, i do think something has to be done... clanner activity is going down hill, and we need to figure out a way to turn that around.


i really think some of these smaller, less active clans should merge together... make a bigger clan so you can actually play clanner...

example: chelsea, when is the last time you were on wnet, and had one of your clan mates online??? how often does that actually happen???  and when it does, is it easy for you to find a clanner???


say what you guys want about dt having a wopping 6 members playing clanners, but maybe we are on to something?? maybe others should follow our lead ;D   notice we generally have most games played? just sayin'


ps: this entire thread should be moved to a more appropriate forum.. im gonna PM D1 to see if he can do that, so others see this conversation, and hopefully get involved.

lol.. i actually did forget about tomt!! my apologies tomt.

but that does not mean nino should be included in a semi active list of dt.

he played 2 clanners, because i keep in touch with him on whatsapp, and from time to time i can get his ass to AG.

maybe you guys should start worrying about your own clans, and not dt... dt stays active, and keep members, because i put a little effort into keeping everyone together, and promoting activity in the clan.... and when things get slow, i recruit... or someone else in the clan recruits.

if i sat back and did nothing, because some people here think dt has too many members, then dt would be just as slow as other clans.


my honest opinion is slightly bigger clans is a better solution then smaller clans, but nobody puts any thought into, they just spout out ideas with no logic...

think about it, komo wanted to make a new clan to promot activity.. sorry, didnt really do much... now those guys just have a hard time finding a mate online, and when they do, they have a hard time find a clan that has a mate online....

and you want to make clans smaller, so there is less chances to have mates online???  does anyone see where im going with this..

times have changed people...  we are not going to have a variety of having 10-20 different clans to play with any more...

maybe if Oo merged with sL and tdc merged with  NBR  we might have some activity on the league... then we will have Oo/sL,  tdc/nbr,  dt, boo, cfc....   might be playing same clans, but at least a variety of players...

when dt plays Oo... its ALWAYS same 2 guys... when dt plays tdc, the same... 

merge up if you guys wanna do something for clanner league.... because i honestly dont think smaller clans is the answer.... maybe if everyone was super active, sure... but its 2017, not 2002...    sorry guys! spleen, again.. go join a clan.

dt has talked about this amongst ourselves....

but why are you talking about this?? join a clan, start to clanner... contribute to the very thing your voicing opinion to fix..... then i might even consider taking you seriously.

dt has 3 active members.

aladdin, sock, and dibz.

3 semi active members... avirex, knightz, and free (since you seen him today, we will call him semi active)

how do you suggest we split these groups up???    2 active and 1 semi in one clan, and 2 semi, and 1 active in another... you think thats going to save the clanner scene here on tus, ae?  did you think this through??


yeah, lets split tdc up!!! who wants first pick on agneua?? or ninjacamel??? how about crazy?? or snoop?? lol

and ok... lets split up dt... who wants dean? flex, or benz???

yes, this is the mean community of w:a, unfortunately this year has seemed to drop in activity, a lot of old guys left... but some old guys returned...

some new guys came as well.. for a game as old as w:a i think we are doing ok though!!!  hopefully you stick around!!  find us in AG for games!

Sensei, i am not the webmaster/coder...  a guy from w2 is the web master, his name is HuLk.. rly cool guy!! he is also from my understanding the one who got this entire ball rolling...  he decided he wanted to rope again after who knows how many years... and went to w2, but w2 servers are down, so him and others were having trouble connecting for games.... so then he decided to give wa a try, and almost every original w2er hates w:a roping.  so, surprisingly before he gave up on the w:a idea, he found out about rubberworm, and its potentials.

he tweaked some physics with rubberworm to try to come as close as possible to w2 style roping, and got a bunch of brazilian w2 ropers back...  the majority of our little community is gringo brazillians, those f@#!ers rly stick together!!! for them to have all kept in touch after all these years really surprised me lol... the rest of the w2 guys that came back was kind of a snow ball effect, each one that returned, had one or 2 contacts, and was able to bring another, and it continued. i have probably got about 5 guys back myself... maybe more, dunno.....  unfortunately that has slowed down recently... but i have a list of email contacts from my old msn account, that i still have to spam (i have no idea who any of the emails are... or even if they are from w2, but im positive majority are)   

so.. i may have went off topic a bit... lmfao  just didnt want anyone thinking im the web designer... HuLk deserves the credit for his work!!   then i even went off topic even farther!! haha so to finally answer your question, i will relay your message to hulk, but i will tell you in advanced, he is not overly interested in putting a lot of work into the web page, (any more work then he already has, i should say)   hes older now, with more responsibilities, etc. his exact words to me were, he would rather use his free time to play worms, rather than code for worms :D but thats not to say he will not make updates and improvements...   he already has done some cool upgrades since the release.... did i got off topic again?? shit!!!   

ok, i guess what im trying to say is, ill let him know your suggestion!!! and stfu now!!



nope, i lied!! i wont stfu.  if your interested in joining the whatsapp group that we have... send me a whatsapp text message @ 13058967803 and i will add you to the group... that is where about 90% of the games are arranged, i would say... so if you found yourself having a hard time finding a WR game from AG, thats why...  none of the guys lurk in AG.. ppl just text for matches, and if someone agrees, they go to AG!  so.. if your enjoying the league, get whatsapp (cell phone app)

and now.... i swear... im going to stfu!

I too have been in search of old players (old w2 ropers for www.wormsroper.con) I'll tell you what has helped me.

1) youtube videos about roping.. it's possible someone your looking for replied, and you can contact them that way.

2) going onto your old AIM account, or MSN account... I have found 1 or 2 guys on AIM, I was glad to find any to be honest, because no one uses AIM any more.

As far as your MSN goes, there is no longer MSN messenger, in order to contact people through that. But if you sign into Skype with the email you used to sign into MSN messenger, it will sync all your MSN contacts to Skype

3) you can make a facebook account with the email that you used for MSN and ask your contacts from MSN will be shown on facebook, recommending who you may know' or whatever...

4) the way back time machine can be a big help, finding old clan sites, some will have wormers emails, and/or links to other worms web sites for you to search for emails.

5) if they have signed up for TUS, I would most definitely start there. A simple PM to the specific person usually will send a email to them letting them know they have a message on TUS. So even if they have not been active @ TUS in years and years... chances are you'll still be able to contact them.
 
6) don't forget, with each person you find, to ask them if they have any other contacts! Hopefully if you can only find one or two guys yourself... a snow ball effect will find the rest.. good luck.

all though we have not been focusing much of our efforts into TUS league, dt is still making  its stamp on the WR league...

i believe dibz is rank number 1 , and the rest of dt, are gernally in top 10 at any given time.

we are going to try to do more clan wars with WR league.. and make dt great again!!! donald said we can do it, and my god, we will do it!!!


its a shame there are nor more roperes here to give the scheme and league a try, or at least some open minded ropers to try the scheme more then once before declaring a life long hate towards it :DD

anyway, feel free to check out our stats so far... we are having fun!!!

hmmm.. i was going to ask the exact same question walrus.


from his first post, i thought that he was making a mod, that will let you enter computer controled teams into an online game...

i thought that it might be a cool little feature.. not really sure what that would be good for off the top of my head.. but im sure someone would come up with some cool scheme, or idea where that might be useful.

anyway, it seems that is not what he meant at all....

and his 2nd post did not clarify much.. if anything, it onlu confused me more :((
