I would like to announce that Drive for Weapons is about to be officially released! The idea has been developed since November 2020 and now sbs is finishing the map upgrade of the prototype map. It is looking amazing! I can only reveal this.

This might not be surprising for DFW fans, so the real reason why I'm posting here is the new Kirill worm video that he gently made for Drive for Weapons after aproximately 15 days of brainstorming between Kirill, sbs and me (after many screenshots, since sbs doesn't use Discord and Kirill doesn't use Whatsapp).

Not sure if this can be considered a teaser or a trailer, but here it is, the fantastic job Director Kirill made, with 3 official images of the new map that is coming soon...:

I don't remember my first Shopper game win, and I deleted several old replays of mine, not to say WWP didn't have replays, but probably it was a remarkable moment. Nice replay, I like the way the green player was using grenades to plop worms.

Good job on your victory! Crucial moment the last victorious attack.

Ps: when I read blue grenade I thought that somehow it could be a Shopper game being played on Worms 2, but I think it was a green grenade afterall.

This scheme was taken from Worms Knowledge Base and it was edited to remove all the glitches, except Glide Glitch which in my opinion won't make much difference in the gameplay, it is so rare and such a detail that when it happens it's just cool to notice it. If someone does master gliding and use it strategically, maybe we can remove the glitch if people don't like. But I wouldn't mind, it would be a cool skill to see people exploring, a Battle Race skill.

I wonder how much time the preview thumbnails of the maps take to process and appear accordingly... Are they manually implemented?

Okay I just watched the new replays here and I laughed many times, thanks for this. It has a similar vibe of kredens' Realistic scheme, but the gravity is even more insane. I think Realistic is more tactical than this one, more balanced too. There are too many strong weapons available and it's not hard to find a super weapon that can destroy easily the map. I think it has more potential if upgraded in the future.

Anyway, the idea is great and just having fun trying the weapons already worths playing this scheme. I had a lot of fun watching you two flying with the Jet Pack, Magic Bullet was really weird ahahaha, I liked the Napalm exploding on ground and the flames glow so hard in this scheme... It's beautiful and they dig a lot the terrain too.

I think the turn time is a bit too long, maybe to allow people deal with the rope without wasting ammo, but that causes half of the turn time become people trying to flagpole with the rope. The axe can kill worms without high gravity, if you set 256 power to it. So, the axe can be balanced if needed for example: setting power = 1, will make it cause 25% of damage, with the gravity it will be more, but won't kill so easily. Another thing to consider is to experiment this scheme as a plop war version, it could be interesting too.
