for group games the mod allocated 27 days (!), subtract 7 days that chicken23 was absent, as a result we get 20 days for games in a group, this is more than enough for two games in a group

Sorry dude, I understand your remark, but I had to take a decision based on several factors such as number of victories, level of activity, attempts to arrange matches and so forth. In this specific case, Chicken23/Albino won a game, although they played only one. In addition, he said he would have played his group game after his holidays (something that did not happen in the end). Nevertheless, the number of victories was still the main factor I considered here, which allowed them to pass to knockouts.

I am trying to do my best in managing all this and I would like to manage played games instead of lack of activity.

Please, let us try to bring all this to an end, focusing on our games accordingly.

Dear all,

Just a few updates about the cup:

- Kins informed me that he will not be able to play his game against Kradie/Pdro during September. We need to replace him accordingly. Any volunteers to team up with Blitz and play the last/pending match by the deadline set for Groups stage (only 4 days left)? Otherwise, I will allow Kradie/Pdro to proceed;

- After a discussion with Walrus, Sock and Mlaofmd  we agreed that Camper/Kaleu and Mlaofmd/Shatket will proceed to knockouts stage from Group #3 (please guys, do not make me sorry for this decision; both Walrus and Sock were understanding towards you);

- The last match in Group #1 is still pending, but as Chicken23 mentioned several days ago, he should be able to play the match against Jago/Wesawe soon. If this will not be possible due to the lack of availability from Jago/Wesawe, I will allow Lancelot/QUATROBLE and Chicken23/Albino to proceed.

Do not hesitate to contact me in private for any issue you may have or for any clarification you may need. I will try to take a fair decision in any case.

I would appreciate if @Prabe could spend more than 5 minutes on his maps to put also arrows, as already mentioned by @BigBilly.

I would prefer to have 200-maps pack with arrows instead of having 500 maps without arrows.

I'm going to Spain and won't be back until the 11th. Could you please extend it a couple of days? We nearly played Jago and his team mate but got confused on GMT vs BST and also another night his partner didn't show but we should be able to play easily when i'm back from a holiday.

Both WA schemes and football are skill based, and therefore both have their fans. It is just that WA has a more niche fanbase.

This can be applied to any other games.

If something can provide meaning, than that's more then enough to keep supporting whatever that is.

It's not just about "website points", which also, seems to me like you are deliberately trying to downplay the importance of how I feel by saying it's "Just a website".

If I was to care so little about things I am passionate about, then why not skip everything entirely and say "It's just a life, why don't I kill myself?"

One of the more important points is authenticity and genuinely accurate statistics, this goes to EVERY kind of competitive competition in life, not just this game, not just this website, but everything.

By nature humans love competing against each other, and this is the reason why when stakes are high, there is absolutely no tolerance for people who cheat or alias.

You can not change the world by avoiding aliasing in WA. The world goes beyond an online game, you know.

I do not consider aliasing as cheating: if someone is the best, then why should he care about someone who is aliasing? He would beat him/her in any case, would not he/she?

I would have been happy if the main issue of the World was aliasing on wormnet, but unfortunately this is not the case.

I still think you are a good person too, but bear in mind that I am not a 13 years old guy posting these things for the sake of love or for the peace in the world, like an influencer of the World.
