Surrender = quit
Surrender is a utitility in your invertory. You may use it in order to change the order after your move. Doing so still poses a chance of being disadvantageous, since you need to use up one turn in order to raise the flag, while you normally might want to do something more useful, like simply inflicting damage to your opponent
This is not equivalent to quitting, which alters the game before you get to legally perform a move and breaks the game beyond repair.
Are you sure about this? Let me tell you, if lack of experience or lack of understanding should be a problem. In our case it sure had an effect. Since nico couldnt attack peja who had quit, he had to attack chelsea, who was just next to me. That way it was good in 2 ways for aef, pileadvance and damage from nico's attack.
