Yeah I'm surprised by how optimized this can get, I keep feeling like I can shave off one more second

RuffledBricks will be running All Missions at GDQ with me commentating, hope everybody tunes in. The time may change by an hour or so, but right now it's scheduled 7:58 GMT Friday (11:58 PM PST Thurs), you can check the schedule as it gets closer:

We have some new strats I've found just this month, so totally worth watching even if you've seen the run before!

I guess this one is over, but if you haven't tried it, give it a go first before getting spoiled.

My two solutions were:

I think pausing is fine, I tried it a bit but didn't get any use out of it

It's a really interesting challenge because you can memorize various combos for the standard placements of the worms, but also need a lot of improv

Got to 30, damn. In the export log I guess you have to look at the line that says: "Damage dealt: 1400 (7 kills) to CPU 4, 1382 (6 kills) to CPU 1, 982 (4 kills) to CPU 2, 1200 (6 kills) to CPU 3, 1431 (7 kills) to CPU 5"

And not the 'most kills with one shot' line

Nice puzzle, I solved it in two different ways; I didn't want to spoil so I just sent Abegod replays on discord

I think if it's a challenge, there's actually an option to hide the replays until the challenge expires

Thanks, and well chosen map Echiko, the narrowness leads to a lot of possible choices for moves

I didn't have 1 worm on start, and also didn't land gently on finish

Here's an unofficial time from me of 45.66 (flung at the finish):

With 2-powered cluster, although you don't have to give as much thought to hiding on steep slopes, you have to be more creative in finding kills overall, because you can't rely on easy cluster kills/suis in tight situations.

Also the ability to stand on steep slopes without worrying about cluster opens up more hide possibilities, e.g. ways to evade cows. It feels like you're too restricted in where you can hide when cluster can potentially one-hit kill you. I'd say having more feasible hides to think about adds to the skill of the game.
