I agree that this scheme has flaws, but I am ready to admit that in general it is not a bad idea that can be developed in different directions and it has potential. For example, there aren't many schemes that require a double plop to kill a worm - you could try to develop something around that, and I also liked the tactic of closing the distance with a special plop, but I haven't figured out how to do it more thoughtfully yet.. .

I added this rule to the first post:
You cannot offer schemes that already exist in the official TUS leagues (Allround and Free League

This rule was in the first topic in which we collected proposals for the first season, but apparently I will have to repeat it always)

34
1) Mole Shopper
2) Elemental
3) Supersheep Race

;) ::) ::)
These schemes will not be added to the list at least because they are in the TUS Free League

What scheme would you like to see and play in the second season of the ESL? Offer your options - each suggestion will be taken into account and added to the voting list in the future.

Each person can offer a maximum of 3 schemes
Please do not propose a scheme that someone has already proposed before you.

ALT-F4 scheme cannot be offered because it has already been played in the previous season.

ESL aims to promote more experimental schemes, newer or less popular, so let your imagination run wild, or find something interesting in the Scheme Ideas, the TUS scheme database, or the previous suggestion thread.

You cannot offer schemes that already exist in the official TUS leagues (Allround and Free League

Deadline: 7 September

Leagues Complaints / Re: Who won the Big RR game? ob or AQUA?
« on: August 28, 2022, 10:25 PM »
log:
ob-clan (Mega'Adnan)was the first to start the game
Shtaket (AQUA) came to the finish line in 5 moves.
blitzed (ob) came to the finish line in 6 moves.
Mega'Adnan (ob) came to the finish line in 7 moves. (spent 40 seconds on final move)
Kirill-Gamer (AQUA) came to the finish line in 7 moves. (spent 14 seconds on final move)

The schema description says:
The player who reaches the finish with less turns wins. Remaining turn time is a tie-breaker.

I don't know how to accurately count in 2v2 games, but here are my options for the outcome of the game:
1. If we add the moves of the players, then AQUA reached the finish line in 12 moves (5 + 7) and win.
2. If we count the time for the last two players who came to the finish line, then the AQUA clan wins, because they spent less time in their final 7th move (Kirill came in 14 seconds out of 40), while the ob-clan spent much more time on this (Mega-Adnan came in 40 seconds out of 40)
3. If we count by the last two players who arrived at the finish line, then we get a draw, since the ob-clan moved first and AQUA came immediately after their move.

I don't see here a variant in which the ob-clan wins, so I think the report is not correct.

Is it allowed to specifically plop your worm in order to appear at the place where its turn began and continue moving, thereby reducing the distance?

In this game, all the members of the AQUA clan plopped into one hole.

00:38 - (3rd move, "Loopystic" worm) - Tripple plop kill
3:59 - (13rd move, "time Eater" worm) - bazooka shot and plop

ESL | Experimental Schemes League / ESL Playoffs #1
« on: August 23, 2022, 01:37 PM »
The ESL season ended on August 17, there was activity in the first month, but the activity dropped to almost zero in the second month. For the sake of decency, I decided to hold the playoffs in order to fully complete the first season. The distribution of participants in the playoffs was as follows:

It's hard to say that all participants made it to the playoffs, but I just chose 8 players who were more active, even if there was not a single victory...

Quarterfinals:

[1] Dream vs [8] FoxHound 3:1
[2] Mega'Adnan vs [7] Ledan 3:0
[3] Kayz vs [6] SIBASA 3:1
[4] djongador vs [5] KRD 0:3

Semifinals
[1] Dream vs [2] Mega'Adnan 3:2
[3] Kayz vs [5] KRD 3:2

Final
[1] Dream vs [3] Kayz 1(3) : 2(5)

Bronze Match
[2] Mega'Adnan vs [5] KRD 1(3) : 2(5)

PO series are best of 5.
Final and Bronze Match - bo3 of bo3s

it would be funny if the mole on your flag rotated just like a shark, non-stop

These are killer whales :)

I don't know if there was such a suggestion, but it would be nice to be able to kick players from the game room between rounds - This feature would be very useful for those who play schemes with stockpiling weapons, since in this case there is no way to simply do rehost to get rid of the player who doesn't click on the lamp.

Leagues Games Comments / Re: Game #233352, reported by Lupastic
« on: August 10, 2022, 01:50 AM »
I watched this replay, analyzed it and saw a situation that can be interpreted in different ways.

I'll start from the moment when the team "Vary Cold" (ob-Saint`zar) arrives at the finish at 35:08 - his worm is under the word "Finish", but does not touch him or the butterfly that stands at the end. After that, in the chat, ob-doc`zar asks "so that's it or touch?" to which Lupastic replies "it doesn't matter too much, he's there already ^^" and then adds so that he does not forget to skip moves or enter the AFK command. - From this we conclude that such a finish is legal and correct.

With his next move, Saint nevertheless decided not to skip his move, but just in case he touched the word "Finish" and the butterfly. - After this action, the second outcome of the game became possible, which happened in the final - Team doc's (ob-doc`zar) comes to the finish line at 44 38 in the same way without touching the word "Finish" or the butterfly. Immediately after his move, the team "Mate" (Mr-Gusa'FS) crosses the finish line and touches the butterfly. This situation immediately caused outrage in the game chat and calls for it. for doc's to make the final touch.

Thus, on the one hand, we have the phrase "it doesn't matter too much, he's there already" owned by the host of this game (Lupastic), who in turn is an active representative of the FS clan and the choice of this scheme belongs to them. From this we can give the victory to the OB-clan.
On the other hand, we see that all the players touched the word "finish" or a butterfly. From this, we can give the victory to the FS-clan.

Draw your own conclusions.
