TLDR: They both became crazy, exaggerating weirdos. If that's what they were back then, you can welcome them back with open arms but most of us would rather not see them back.
hmm. that sucks. :/

It always bums me out when people are generally decent, and then through some circumstance manage to get a comfier life and then talk shit to other people like they're dumb because we aren't all doing the same thing. I still have a lot of DJ and producer friends who are always talking shit about people who work regular jobs and don't make that much money, and it's super annoying. Toxic's always been good to me, and I know he likes to troll, so I dunno. Some people just get off on crapping on others.
I dunno if any of the stuff he told me is true, but it does sound like he is living the good life right now.
skunk or?

Thanks for all the fun! It has been an amazing journey!
I decided to retire from WA, I figured it's all or nothing, and the game takes up too much of my time.
Goodbyyyye!

Ok, now I have time, just finished the RHCP book xd
So the things I need to do are (from AlTarf's and Senator's comments):don't forget I mentioned this should be an option as others might not like it, I do though...
- Independent windows for chat - I don't know if I can do this, don't really got the idea how could it be cool :/
- Save the order of the nick list - OK
- Login screen should be visible - I guess I should separate show login window and remember me checkboxes. Now remember me checks out show login window (not a bug, but a feature xD)
separating such windows isn't exactly necessary, I just don't want the login screen to disappear if I check the Show login screen at startup option (gets unchecked)forget about this, I learned a while ago that it's the Remember me box that causes this to happen, so if unchecked, it won't do stuff automatically anymorethat's okay, I didn't know that, yet I think there should be an option to disable them
- News.. why is it: you can't really inform people on WormNet about anything, but with this at least you can reach GS users.. news should not appear when you have read them all.. so if you just press left or right arrow button to "read" all the news, it should not open next time, unless there is a new item. I guess I will remove the last thing and not force people to read all the news
a disconnect button is good if you wanna change your login information, which I do a lot so I need that: I simply wanna return to the login screen rather than disconnecting by clicking the X and when reopening, connecting and logging on automatically
- Logout - it's easier to close and reopen the application than making this xD I mean at the end I didn't have energy to make it, and for me it really don't look important, is it?
that's fine by me
- The update thing.. you could auto-start the snooper after being updated only with some hacks.. there is not so many updates that it should be annoying I guess
Quote from: Tomi on December 16, 2014, 09:07 AMThank you for taking the time to read and respond. I'll move my post to that thread then.
Thanks for the feedback
But let's discuss it on the GS forum.. here: https://www.tus-wa.com/forums/files/great-snooper-3rd-chapter-25137/

If settings file (settings.sqlite3) is not found at C:\Program Files\The Wheat Snooper\snpini try at C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\The Wheat Snooper\snpini
if you're running a x64 OS:
C:\Program Files (x86)\The Wheat Snooper\snpini
C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\The Wheat Snooper\snpini
Thanks, but storing the settings file in the program directory is just totally wrong, and that's Lookie's fault.
If running on Windows, the settings database should be stored in %APPDATA%\.tws, if not, then if running on OS/2, the settings database should be stored in %HOME%\.tws, if not, then the settings database should be stored in ~/.tws.
The last one covers all Unix derivative OSes, including Apple Mac OS X, GNU/Linux and BSD family OSes. The first one should work for Windows flawlessly.
Await for 2.9.1 in two days.
The third number in the version means a bugfix update only, so no new features, but there are still some issues already resolved, and this one is planned to be resolved today.
